Powerlet Heavy Duty SAE Battery Lead

Our heavy-duty SAE battery leads can handle 15 amps of current. Other SAE battery leads use much thinner wire and are fused at 3 amps. The heavy 16 gauge wire is a must for powering SAE type heated clothing. An excellent choice for Luggage Electrix. Includes 15 amp fuse and tethered dust cap.

Inside Line

Most commonly used outside your luggage as part of the Luggage Electrix system, these cables were also designed with a 15 amp rating to power older heated clothing. Patented.

A shopper asked: Hi
Are 15 amps enough for powering an portable cycle tire air pump ?
Apr 21, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
John I: It works for me. I bought this item just for my slime pump. I have a goldwing and I blew the fuse in the cigarette plug in my left fairing pocket. The 15 amp handles the pump easily. Easier access to the fuse inline if it does fail. I do recommend this item. Apr 22, 2015

Marc T: I am currently using this battery lead on my bike. My Stop & Go – Portable Mini-Air Compressor is rated at 12 volts, 6 amps. So, 15 amps is enough. Apr 21, 2015
