Pit Bull Hybrid One Armed Rear Stand KTM 1290 Super Duke

The Pit Bull Hybrid One Armed Rear Stand features a removable handle which allows you to use the stand with the handle going either forward or toward the rear of the bike. The handle can be installed going either to the front or back on the drive side, but only to the rear on the non-drive side due to interference with exhaust muffler.

When installed on the drive side with the One Pin option, it allows wheel removal; when installed on the non-drive side with the Two Pins option, it allows easy sprocket removal. It offers great leverage and stability and the ball bearing head makes it easy to spin the wheel for chain oiling.

Features:

  • Steel construction
  • Super durable zinc plated finish
  • Different pins may be purchased separately to fit other bikes
  • Made in the USA

The only single-sided swingarm stand I trust
I've been Pit Bull fan since they started out in business and love the quality and robustness of their stands. I recently purchased a 1290 Super Duke GT and it works flawlessly.

In addition, they're are beautifully designed and I love the attention to detail.

quality piece
High quality piece, perhaps a little expensive for what it is, and one must look online to find info or instructions. That said, seems well made, and does what it's supposed to. Mine will live outside, so we'll see how it weathers, though I have no reason to think it won't stand up to rain and sun.

Worth the money
If you're on the fence about purchasing this, just do it. Looks great, welds are near perfection, and built like a brick outhouse. Solid all around.

Took a minute to put together. Lifted my bike no problem and the bike felt stable when off the ground.

Well worth the asking price.

well done well done
i bought the one with two pins so you can change sprocket and tire and in my opinion its the only option that makes sense simple/universal maintenance such as tires sprockets chain etc which will pay for itself real quick vs taking it to mechanic. Back to tool itself. Great design and functionality. If you put it together so that arm is towards forward of the bike on the drive side
A) you will not have to change arm to put it up on the muffler side
B) it makes raising the bike a breeze no more holding subframe trying to balance 'with one hand and pushing bar with the other just hold the bike with both hands and step on the bar with your right leg. Bike is stable on the stand.
The holder for the other pin is an icing.
Thing looks and feels absolutely bulletproof.
Great job Pit Bull!
Revzilla if you have it i'm buying it from you:)

Works great
Work in my home shop just got a lot easier. Tire changes of course, but also wheel cleaning and lubing and adjusting the chain. More prepared for my next track day.

Top notch quality
Let's be clear, you buy a 69.00 stand, you get cheap lawn chair quality metal, you buy a Pit Bull stand, you get big, strong made in America steel worth every penny of it's price. Great stand.

Great Stand, Better Price
Really easy to get the bike up on the stand. Its so light you can push the bike around by lifting the handle off the ground. "Not recommended for safety." Make sure you have the kickstand down before lowering the bike to avoid a tip over. Construction is great with perfect TIG welds and the coating looks great.

Excellent Purchase
The stand is well built, stable, and easy to use. Plus I am able to switch pins and use it on both sides of the swingarm.

The two pin stand is the only option for Super Duke R 1290 owners who need to both, lift the rear wheel for chain maintenance, as well as remove the rear wheel.
David B on Apr 29, 2016
I count on Pit Bull quality, and price compared to the KTM equivalent.

Pit bull stands set the standard, plus the fact the handle can be faced in both directions, forward for me, is a really nice option.

Work on a 690 Duke?
A shopper on Apr 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No. 690's are not single sided swingarms.
Will this stand work with the 1290 super adventure?
Jonwpdx on Mar 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Sorry, don't know if the Adventure has the same size swing arm as the Super Duke. A KTM dealer might know the answer to that, or one of the KTM forums...
