Pit Bull Hybrid One Armed Rear Stand Ducati 1098 / 1198 / 1199 / Diavel / Multistrada 1200

The Pit Bull Hybrid One Armed Rear Stand Ducati 1098 / 1198 / 1199 / Diavel / Multistrada 1200 features a removable handle which allows you to use the stand with the handle going either forward or toward the rear of the bike. The handle can be installed going either to the front or back on the drive side, but only to the rear on the non-drive side of most motorcycles.

When installed on the drive side, it allows wheel removal; when installed on the non-drive side, it allows easy sprocket removal. It offers great leverage and stability and the ball bearing head makes it easy to spin the wheel for chain oiling.

Sold complete with one or two pins.

Please choose pins based on:

  • One Pin for stand use on the drive side only. This is the 41mm pin. See below for important fitment note before ordering.
  • Two Pins for stand use on both drive and non-drive sides. These pins are the the 41mm pin for the drive side and the the 43mm pin for the non-drive side.

Fits Ducati 1098, 1198, 1199 Panigale, Diavel, Multistrada 1200, or Streetfighter 1098/1198.

One Pin option will not work if your 1098 is one of the first 2007 models to arrive from Italy, because the hub diameter (43mm)  for these motorcycles is the same on both the left and the right side.  You can order the Two Pin option and use ONLY the Right Side Pin, which is 43mm in diameter.

Does not fit Ducati 998, 996, 916, 848, 748, Monster 796, 848 Streetfighter, HyperMotard, Monster 1100, Monster S4R, Monster S2R, Multistrada 1000, MH900E.

Works great. Built very well. Fits and lifts rear wheel perfectly. Cleaning and oiling chain is now easy. I thing it's little pricey for what it is but I'm happy with quality and quality cost. October 7, 2014
Does what it's supposed to do. Ridiculous fast shipping. I've been using Pitt Bull stands for 20 years (yikes!). They've saved me money along the way as I've simply changed out pins for my front stand, and an occasional pin swap or rear stand swap if needed. They're bulletproof. No problems. Oh, and the Revzilla shipping....I ordered mine on a Thursday afternoon...I received in Sat morning! October 6, 2014
This product has great features i bought it for my Ducati Panigale 1199, i love it! well built, and very heavy duty.. i recommend it!! September 23, 2014
Great quality product! I recently purchased a Ducati Monster 1200S and being that it has a single sided swing arm, my old stand wasn't going to work. I contacted Pit Bull and they said this stand will fit my bike. If you've never owned a Pit Bull stand before, let me tell you this is a solid piece of equipment. The pins fit nice and snug with absolutely no play in them. The bike is so stable once you put downward pressure on the handle because of the wide wheelbase, it only takes one hand to lift and lower the bike. Though it does take a little effort to lift the bike due to the short handle. I also like how the stand can be used on either side of the bike depending on the side you need to work on. Plus the handle can lift towards the front or the back of the bike. I have it set up for the front which makes it easier to walk around the bike in the garage and not trip over the handle. This is a great example of you get what you pay for. You won't be disappointed. August 26, 2014
Pittbull are the only stands I would buy for Ducati streetfighter or any other Ducati. These stands are the only stands that are as easy to use, stable, and last. They are heavy duty. These are the last stands you will buy for your bike, and they are worth the extra cash. Also, stop shopping around, Revzilla's free shipping and no restocking fee makes them the place to buy. Excellent stand, gIreat quality I needed a stand for my 13 Multistrada so I ordered the PitBull Hybrid from Revzilla. I've been a RevZilla customer since the beginning and they have never let me down. The Hybrid PitBull stand oozes quality. Attention to detail is obvious and the engineering is top notch. These things are built like a tank so you'll never worry about your bike falling over no matter what you do while it's on the stand. So easy to use my 15 yr old daughter can put the bike on the stand for me. If you're on the fence about buying a PitBull over some of the cheaper stands don't worry about it. If the time comes you buy a different bike you'll be able to get nearly all your money back selling the PitBull as they hold their value far better than the others out there. They're gold colored for a reason...they're worth their weight in gold! Thanks RevZilla and PitBull. June 2, 2014
Excellent product, Well designed and constructed. The Put Bull stand works perfectly and allows easy access to the rear wheel for maintenance, cleaning, chain servicing, etc. May 29, 2014
New bike, new stand Definitely worth the extra money. I had a 2013 Triumph Daytona & bought a Pitbull stand & never had a issue doing numerous maintance stuff on it. I sold the bike & have a 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale now & had to buy a new stand due to the single-sided swing arm so I went with Pitbull vs the Ducati Performance stand, not because it was cheaper but this hybrid stand is a lot more convenient & easy to flip the stand around for numerous installs. Pitbull stands are beefy, has very nice welds & has that unique Pitbull finish. February 18, 2014

Wilbur C asked: I have a 2014 panigale s, which one works, one pin or two pin. Why do I need the two pin stand vs one pin stand? Will one pin stand work on both sides of the rear wheel or do I need the two pin? Apr 15, 2014

Dave S: Greetings, Wilbur. The one pin stand works like a champ on either side of the Panigale, so you can lever the bike up with the Pitbull handle rotating toward the front of the bike (left side), or rotating the handle aft towards the rear when inserting the pin into the right side of your rear wheel. Don't see a need for a 2 pin setup at all. The 1 pin rig is built like a tank, and the bike is extremely stable on the stand. I'm VERY pleased with this purchase, and pleased with Revzilla as well! Cheers! Apr 17, 2014

Charles M: For Panigale, you'll need 2 pins. The left inside hub diameter is slightly smaller than the right side. So the smaller diameter pin is used on the left when you want to take the wheel off (from the right) and the larger diameter pin is used on the right side of the hub when you're working on the left side of the bike (i.e. hub/sprocket/chain/etc).
Hope this helps.

Konrad S: Wilbur, i have a 2012 panigale base and i use the 1 pin on both left and right side. Now i'm not a mechanic and i will not be removing the rear wheel by myself, i only purchased the stand for storage and basic maintenance work. 41mm vs 43mm is a minimal difference and the bike WILL NOT tip over. Bryce L: Each side of the swingarm has a different sized hole, hence the 2 easily changeable pins that come on and off with an Allen wrench. So you have the option to lift the bike from the opposite side and clean the Chain and have a clear side. Hope that helped! Apr 15, 2014

Ryan B: I use this with my '12 Panigale S. Right side cavity is slighly larger than the left side, so you'll need two pins if you want to use on both sides Apr 15, 2014

luke b: This stand only works on 1 side of the moto. The right side. I have the same bike and works perfect! Apr 15, 2014

Checker A: Wilbur, I purchased the Hybrid stand for my 1198. You need the two pins because the holes on either side of the wheel are different sizes. If the stand is on the left side of the bike, that is usually for storage, since the handle is facing toward the front of the bike and is out of the way. If you place the stand on the right side of the bike, for removing the wheel as an example, the handle will be sticking out toward the rear of the bike. Never the less, you have to change pins when going from side to side.

Dave S: I too have a 1199S like Wilbur, and can assure you both that I do NOT need to change pins when lifting the bike from the left or the right. Same pin. The wheels on the Panigale have the same caliber "hole" on each side. You have a different Ducati (an 1198). The answer to Wilbur's question "Will one pin work on both sides of the wheel?" is: YES, and can be done WITHOUT "changing pins when going side to side." on the Panigale 1199/S/R models. Apr 17, 2014
