Pit Bull Hybrid One Armed Rear Stand Ducati 1098 / 1198 / 1199 / Diavel / Multistrada / Monster 1200

The Pit Bull Hybrid One Armed Rear Stand Ducati 1098 / 1198 / 1199 / Diavel / Multistrada 1200 features a removable handle which allows you to use the stand with the handle going either forward or toward the rear of the bike. The handle can be installed going either to the front or back on the drive side, but only to the rear on the non-drive side of most motorcycles.

When installed on the drive side, it allows wheel removal; when installed on the non-drive side, it allows easy sprocket removal. It offers great leverage and stability and the ball bearing head makes it easy to spin the wheel for chain oiling.

Sold complete with one or two pins.

Please choose pins based on:

  • One Pin for stand use on the drive side only. This is the 41mm pin. See below for important fitment note before ordering.
  • Two Pins for stand use on both drive and non-drive sides. These pins are the the 41mm pin for the drive side and the the 43mm pin for the non-drive side.

Fits Ducati 1098, 1198, 1199 Panigale, Diavel, Multistrada 1200, Monster 1200 or Streetfighter 1098/1198.

Fitment Notes & Exceptions

One Pin option will not work if your 1098 is one of the first 2007 models to arrive from Italy, because the hub diameter (43mm)  for these motorcycles is the same on both the left and the right side.  You can order the Two Pin option and use ONLY the Right Side Pin, which is 43mm in diameter.

Does not fit Ducati 998, 996, 916, 848, 748, Monster 796, 848 Streetfighter, HyperMotard, Monster 1100, Monster S4R, Monster S2R, Multistrada 1000, MH900E.

Great rear stand my my 2013 Diavel I was looking for a good sturdy stand for my Diavel and this one is just that. Much more solid than my previous rear stand for my ninja. I feel very confident that I can actually leave my bike propped up for an extended period of time without any worries of it breaking or tipping over. November 3, 2015
Fits Like a Glove! Bought the Pit Bull One Armed Rear Stand for my new 2016 Ducati Panigale R. Fits like a glove and works as advertised. Great product by Pit Bull, great service by Revzilla! September 16, 2015
Product works well Probably the best made product of it's type, Not cheap but is sturdy and will last. Really only one of two available stands for single sided swing arm bikes I could find. And for the mild price premium over the competition probably worth it. Not to fear when your bike is propped up on this thing. September 1, 2015
Great Product This is my first rear stand and it has made life so much easier. Top quality product and I love that it can be used on either side of the bike which makes getting the bike up and down by yourself much easier. August 10, 2015
Don't settle for cheaper brands. I've had stands by multiple other companies and non are as solid as Pit Bull. They are simple but work incredibly well. This one has pins for both sides of the single side swingarm but the single smaller pin works for both sides. July 6, 2015
Easy to assemble and use High quality equipment, easy to put together and use for servicing/cleaning/working on your moto. Definitely recommend. May 4, 2015
Very high quality Rock solid. Very little to assemble. Shipment packed well and arrived quickly. April 3, 2015
Ease of use, high quality product with "lightning" speed shipment This product was actually better than I expected. I usually do not get suprised in the positive direction but this time was different. The finish was really great and the fit when I mounted it was really good. I took me 3 minutes to get it together (and more than 5 minutes to unpack because the team really made an effort to keep it safe on its journey to California - great job!). I tested it and so far it works great, easy to lift up the bike which is a Ducati 1199 Panigale S 2014. One other thing, the Shipment was very fast! I ordered it on Tuesday and I got it on Wednesday afternoon. I highly recommend this product. March 11, 2015

Wilbur C asked: I have a 2014 panigale s, which one works, one pin or two pin. Why do I need the two pin stand vs one pin stand? Will one pin stand work on both sides of the rear wheel or do I need the two pin? Apr 15, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Dave S: Greetings, Wilbur. The one pin stand works like a champ on either side of the Panigale, so you can lever the bike up with the Pitbull handle rotating toward the front of the bike (left side), or rotating the handle aft towards the rear when inserting the pin into the right side of your rear wheel. Don't see a need for a 2 pin setup at all. The 1 pin rig is built like a tank, and the bike is extremely stable on the stand. I'm VERY pleased with this purchase, and pleased with Revzilla as well! Cheers! Apr 17, 2014

Charles M: For Panigale, you'll need 2 pins. The left inside hub diameter is slightly smaller than the right side. So the smaller diameter pin is used on the left when you want to take the wheel off (from the right) and the larger diameter pin is used on the right side of the hub when you're working on the left side of the bike (i.e. hub/sprocket/chain/etc).
Hope this helps.

Konrad S: Wilbur, i have a 2012 panigale base and i use the 1 pin on both left and right side. Now i'm not a mechanic and i will not be removing the rear wheel by myself, i only purchased the stand for storage and basic maintenance work. 41mm vs 43mm is a minimal difference and the bike WILL NOT tip over. Bryce L: Each side of the swingarm has a different sized hole, hence the 2 easily changeable pins that come on and off with an Allen wrench. So you have the option to lift the bike from the opposite side and clean the Chain and have a clear side. Hope that helped! Apr 15, 2014

Ryan B: I use this with my '12 Panigale S. Right side cavity is slighly larger than the left side, so you'll need two pins if you want to use on both sides Apr 15, 2014

luke b: This stand only works on 1 side of the moto. The right side. I have the same bike and works perfect! Apr 15, 2014

Checker A: Wilbur, I purchased the Hybrid stand for my 1198. You need the two pins because the holes on either side of the wheel are different sizes. If the stand is on the left side of the bike, that is usually for storage, since the handle is facing toward the front of the bike and is out of the way. If you place the stand on the right side of the bike, for removing the wheel as an example, the handle will be sticking out toward the rear of the bike. Never the less, you have to change pins when going from side to side.

Dave S: I too have a 1199S like Wilbur, and can assure you both that I do NOT need to change pins when lifting the bike from the left or the right. Same pin. The wheels on the Panigale have the same caliber "hole" on each side. You have a different Ducati (an 1198). The answer to Wilbur's question "Will one pin work on both sides of the wheel?" is: YES, and can be done WITHOUT "changing pins when going side to side." on the Panigale 1199/S/R models. Apr 17, 2014
Ryan H asked: Simply question just to be 100% sure. I have a 2015 Ducati Monster 1200s, will this stand fit? Also, getting the two pin options just allows you to use the stand on both sides of the single sided swing arm correct? Thank you in advance! Feb 4, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Scott R: Yes, (Pitbull says the Monster 1200 uses the large pin setup same as 1199 Panigale/1198/multio1200). with the second pin (even larger) one can move the stand to the non-chain side for sprocket swaps etc.. Something to consider if you are planning to use axle sliders is to get the Sato slider that have a hole through them so you can use an the 848 pin, either side, and no need to remove the sliders to use stand. Florent B: The pin size is based on whether your bike has a small hub or large hub. From the pitbull docs.
So basically, you'll use the same pin whichever side you use the stand for.
Safe option is get the 2 pins and the stand will fit all ducati models with single swing arms. Or you can investigate if your monster has a small or large hub.

Mike Z: I would check the size in mm for fitment. The stand is great. Very stable and you can use it either side front or backwards. Feb 4, 2015

Ryan B: Not sure if it fits the Monster but yes, the 2-pin option is for alternating which side the stand is used. Feb 4, 2015

Joan O asked: Will it work on a 2015 1299s?

Nov 26, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
William Q: Yes. I believe the axle size is still the same as many other Ducati models. You can also buy an additional pin that will allow you to install the rear stand on the right side/ wheel side of the bike. Great products. Very well made. Including the front stand and rear wheel trailer mount for hauling.

A shopper asked: Would it work for 2012 Ducati 1199? And what are the pins? Jun 14, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
William Q: Apologies: I just responded thinking this was for the trailer mount, because I just bought it.

The rear stand is awesome. It comes with the large diameter pin that fits in the left side of the axle. I purchased a smaller diameter pin for the right side.

I have a 2013 Panigale S Tricolore. Product works great.

Louis H: Mine did work (until someone stole both 1199 a 2012 2013 and the PitBull stand) I got the one with both pins. (One side is slightly bigger than the other side that's why there's two pins ) I just ordered the trailer restraint system and the wheel chock, not from revzilla but from PitBull Revzilla didn't have it. Alexander B: The pani 1199 is the same and will fit. The pins are to allow you to swap the side of the stand. As each side is a different diameter. This function allows you to do maintenance on either side of the bike. Jun 14, 2015
