Pit Bull Hybrid One Armed Rear Stand BMW

The Pit Bull Hybrid One Armed Rear Stand BMW features a removable handle which allows you to use the stand with the handle going either forward or toward the rear of the bike. The handle can be installed going either to the front or back on the drive side, but on BMW bikes, you cannot use this stand on the non-drive side of the motorcycle.

When installed on the drive side, it allows wheel removal. It offers great leverage and stability and the ball bearing head makes it easy to spin the wheel for cleaning and maintenance.

Fits BMW R Nine T, K1200R, K1200S, R1200R, R1200GS, K1300R, K1300S and HP2 models.

Features:

  • Sold complete with one pin
  • Steel construction
  • Super durable zinc plated finish
  • Different pins may be purchased separately to fit other bikes

Wow!!!
Have been wanting/needing one for a while as I do not have a center stand or the option to get one put on. The BMW factory accessory is like 3X the price, No thanks. This pitbull is well made and easy to use. I like the option of being able to move the handle and have it rest in towards the center of the bike.
Easy to assemble, easy to use, very well made and looks really nice, like something you would see in a racing pit.

Would definately recommend.

High quality stand.
I bought this stand to use on my BMW k1300s. I works great. Very easy to use and It's made with high quality materials. The stand fits like a glove into the bikes hub assembly and the finish of the stand is excellent. To top it off, I shopped around a while and I couldn't find a better price than from Revzilla.

Simple, Functional & Beautifully Crafted
Bought the Pit Bull One Armed Rear Stand for my newly purchased 2005 BMW K1200S. This is a beautifully crafted, simple solution to storing my bike upright since it does not have a center stand and I just can't bring myself to cut into the beautiful belly pan to install one. I love the simplicity of the design and the attractive finish. I wouldn't necessarily expect a motorcycle stand to look good but this one does. I am very pleased with the quality of this product and was happy to see it is American made.

Well built! Recommended and worked as advertised.
I needed to remove both the front and rear wheels from my 2007 K1200GT (big heavy bike!!).

I bought the front stand first and Pit Bull recommended that I should not use the front stand alone. I also needed the rear stand. Although some forum posts seemed to suggest removing the rear wheel or putting the center stand up on a wood block a few inches - and then using the front stand. I opted for the safe solution, using both the rear and front stands. I'm not a huge guy (185 lbs) and this stand made it possible to easily lift my bike.

I would recommend having the bar towards the center of the bike, that way you can prop up the bike on the center stand first, then when your coming down (hardest part) the center stand will stay up (That's just a suggestion, worked for me, be CAREFUL and use your own judgement of course!!) If you point the arm towards the rear of the bike DO NOT use the center stand because the bike will roll forward and possibly disengage the center stand when coming down.

In summary, this stand is when built, worked great and was able to lift my K1200 GT without too much effort.

Had the best reviews and yes it is a great product.

I purchased this because it fit & got the job done. It works adequately, although I still find it cumbersome (worried about bike falling while placing on the stand), and still use 2 people when putting it on/off the stand. A better choice would be to purchase & install the BMW flip-up maint stand on the bike, but vanity, cost, and having to trim a body panel pushed me away from that solution.

I've owned Pit Bull stands in the past. In fact, they are so well built that they invite thievery as I had one stolen off of a 2008 Daytona 675 SE. The bike and stand were both cable locked to a steel pole...LOL. They left the bike and took the stand. Oh, well. I have a new front stand and am now purchasing the rear stand for my (new to me and new anyways as it only has 4300 miles) 2005 BMW K1200S.

Pit Bull stands are high quality and made in America. George at Pit Bull was awesome to deal with helping me select the right stands for my 2015 BMW K1300S. I do not trust any other stand for my bike.

Thre regular BMW stand is no longer available in North America. The Pit Bull was recommended by Jeff Ford, one of the greatest mechanics on the planet.

No center stand? Get this one. Can also be used to jack the front end of an 18-wheeler for a tire change. Or to get your "full-figured "sweetie" on the back of the bike. Built like a battleship. The stand that is. And maybe your "sweetie". But you still love her.
Tom K on Oct 27, 2013
I chose this stand because of pitbull's well deserved reputation for quality and functionality and bought it at Revzilla because of the excellent customer experience with very descriptive and helpful videos and of course great prices! Thank you Revzilla!

Hi! Just checking if this will fit the new water boxer rear drives (which are on the left side as seated on the bike)?.. I have a 2016 R1200RS and would like the ability to put the bike up on a rear stand. Thanks!
Ian H on Oct 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It works great for my rNineT so I think it should be fine as the rear tire size/clearance won't be much different.
I have a BMW K1200s. Does every thing come with this stand to get my rear tire off the ground; or do I need to prchase additional items?

BEST ANSWER: I've got the K1200GT so I'm not sure what difference there is. Just make sure you have the correct pin to fit your rear sidearm.
Have pitbull rear stand for ducati ms 1200. I am switching to bmw k1300s. Do i need new rear stand for new bike?

BEST ANSWER: It seems like Pit Bull is the best one to answer this.
Or, just try it when you get your BMW.
The BMW works on the left of the bike, which side does
the Ducati stand work on?
Will this stand work on a 2004 BMW R1100S Boxer Cup Replica?
