Good product, bad instructions
Followed the instructions and drilled a hole to spec based on them. Hole was bigger than the insert and spun instead of biting the swingarm. Drilled a size smaller in the other side and had to tap the insert in with a hammer. Teeth on the insert stripped from it due to metal density. Ended up using a bit of epoxy and about 14 washers to get the insert to mushroom out per design. Now that they are installed, they look good and work well. If I could do it again I would opt for the weld on alternative.

jim n:when you install insert into swing arm you need a spool with a 6mm bolt to match 6mm insert .you need a longer 6mm bolt, nut, and washer to set insert in hole you drill in swing arm.if your swing arm has a place for spool you just get spool to match thread.Aug 31, 2014
Chris KStaff:Many modern sport bikes have a spot already designated where you would install this (for hollow swingarms only). Older bikes often do not and would need it drilled out. I would take it to a professional shop if you need this done. Once installed, you'll be able to screw spools into them easily.Aug 7, 2013
