Pirelli MT60R Tires 4.3 5 3 3
Good tire Put this on my Kawa Versys and it seems to be working out really well. On dirt roads and gravel it sticks pretty well but in loose gravel I seem to have a lot of travel. I have so far put about 2000 miles on it 90% road and it does seem to be wearing out a little faster then I thought it would. Overall good tire. June 2, 2014
Supermoto fun on and off road. I bought these for my Husqvarna SM630 with the intent of going off road. They perform great off road, but more specifically they do great on hard packed and rocky surfaces. In soft sand the 17" front isn't the best choice, but the Pirelli's do a fair job keeping the bars straight. On road, these tires are great. I commute as well as teach multiple MSF courses on this bike. I have great confidence in these tires with high lean angle turns. The rear will break lose some if use too much throttle while exiting a turn, but if feels controllable. I gave it average tread life because I have about 1500 miles on them and the rear appears to be at mid-life. While that may seem low, I abuse my tires more than I think others do. My stock tires only saw 700mi before they needed to be replaced. October 14, 2012
Great tire so far! I was looking for a more stable, all weather tire for my Versys. While I don't go offroad much on my versys, that was mainly due to the terrible stock tires which left my confidence even on dry pavement low. I read a lot of reviews on these tires and all sounded great other than tread life. I have about 200 miles on them so far and I can say, i don't care about tread life! They feel so much more stable in all conditions. I rode through a storm on the way home from work and I just felt so much more in control of my bike. If you want something that can do the dirt occasionally as well as wet weather on your Versys, these are the tires. Stability, confidence and they look awesome! If you are just a street rider on your Versys, go with the Pilot Road 2 or 3s. They are the best for all-weather asphalt. I'll try to report back in another 2000 miles on the tread life. regardless, safety and confidence are worth 200 bucks every year or so (if the rumors are true on the back tire tread life). RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
T A: I have used this tire before and it's awesome on my bike. My Kawasaki versys 650 now handles like a smaller version of the GS1200 with added abilities. Aug 3, 2015
Kevin S: My friend recommended these tires to me. He convinced me that these tires are the better choice than the Avon Distanzia for my KTM 640 for riding in the dirt and street. Can't wait to get them! Jan 1, 2015
Justin W: Replacing the existing MT60R rear tire on my Husky SM630. Great traction on street and hard packed off road surfaces but shaky in soft sand and mud. Tread life is lower than I'd like but there aren't many supermoto choices in this size with matching 17" front tires. Aug 10, 2013
Herm W asked: Kawasaki KL250-G4 Super Sherpa with original gold rims, needs new tires. I daily commute on pavement, sometimes go on gravel roads, very occassionally do some easy trail riding. Need recommendations for both front and read tires. Only started riding last summer, don't know know much about what I should get.? Can you help? Apr 13, 2015

mike w: I used mt 60s exclusively on my versys. They are great in the road. Soft rubber compound that hold very well. Do a good job on gravel and light dirt forest roads. Got about 3000miles on the rear, 2x that on the front. Apr 13, 2015

A shopper asked: How does this tire size compared to others? Being onlt available in the 160 width is a concern, as my klx450 rubs slightly with a 150. Im curious if it is a true 160 width, or if it tends to run narrow as some others do. May 29, 2014

bryan m: It calipers on my rim to 158
The tires are awesome performance wise, very good on the road, cambered like a street tire, and they excel on wet roads. The tread is not terribly deep so mild off road riding is great but I wouldn't get them thinking they are off road tires by any means.
The high level of performance in the street comes at a price - longevity. They are not a high mile tire. However safety on the street is often a measurement of the stickiness of your tire, so I'm a big fan. I run them on my Versys 650 that's set up for adventure riding.
