Tons of space Just received my tailbag so haven't had a chance to attach to my bike yet. The main reason why I chose this bag was how easy it is to attach to back seat. With the strap and bungee cords, it should fit on my new bike with ease. This bag is huge, has tons of space, a couple of small pockets in the bag for little stuff. Can easily store enuf clothes for a wk or 2 plus an extra pair of shoes. January 12, 2015
Riding is fun again I bought this bag to free up my back from a backpack (full of textbooks, notebooks, laptop, other school stuff) and I'm satisfied with what it does. Easy on, easy off (a big reason for choosing this bag) with the zipper and velcro, and it holds it very well. My one gripe, and another big reason for choosing this bag, was for its backpack feature, which it fails at completely because it doesn't function at all as a backpack, but it comes with a shoulder strap which works just as well. The problem with the backpack feature is in its design, it was made to strap on really high up on your back, making it droop very awkwardly, and creating a weird gap between your back and the bag, even without weight. You can try strapping it really tight against your back, but it still feels really strange. Overall, it still works except for that one feature, and I'm satisfied. October 14, 2013
Expensive but worth it I had looked at many similar bags. This was at the high end of my price range but seemed to fit what I wanted best. I'm glad I spent the extra money on it. The quality is outstanding and appears as though it will last forever. The size is perfect. I was able to pack two pairs of shoes and a whole week's clothing in it including my laptop with the bad extended open, expanded. The mounting system is also amazing. There are lots of options to strap it down and it was really secure no matter how I tried it out. Highly recommend this bag! July 22, 2013

A shopper asked: Hi everyone. I need a tailbag or tankbag that can fit a 16.5 inch by 11 inch laptop and a couple of textbooks. Quick disconnect and backpack straps would be nice too, but they are negotiable. I know that the dimensions on Revzilla label the Oxford X40 as 16.5 x 13, but is that including the external fanny pack? Or is that the dimensions of the largest cavity? I can't chop up my laptop to fit, so, yeah, it matters. Would this bag fit my laptop? If not, is there another bag out there that you know of that fits my criteria? Thanks in advance. Dec 17, 2014

Robert B. W: I have the Oxford X40 on my ZX-14R. Nice bag, I like the under-seat mounting option--no bungees or hooks. Sadly, it will not hold your laptop. Side-to-side inside dimensions are about 12.5", and front-to-back about 10.5". Dec 31, 2014
