Oxford X40 Lifetime Expander Tank Bag
I am loving this tank bag. Fairly new to motorbiking, I found that most bike luggage is seriously undersized .... what's a girl gonna do? This tank bag on the other side is just as big as my regular daypack (40l), so that I don't have to pick and chose what to take on my outing. But you could pick and chose, as the expandable system allows you to only take parts of the bag and leave at home what you don't need. Fully expanded it is big enough to store rain gear, snacks, technology, a water bottle, other personal items and then some. A variety of internal compartments and 3 outer pockets help stay organized.
When I leave the bike, I no longer have to try and fit all my valuables into the few pockets of my jacket, as the tank bag quickly transforms into a shoulder or back pack.
It fits perfectly on my Bandit 600. Fully loaded, it is quite high and I have had moments where I was worried it would get in the way, but ultimately, I found that the turns never were that sharp.
The only thing I found sub-ideal is the user manual. The bag comes with several straps and accessories and I am still not sure what some of those accessories are intended for.
Oh and thanks Revzilla for excellent service .... It's a pleasure to do business with you, guys.

Awesome Tank Bag!
My last tank bag was a smaller version of an Oxford and it is a quality product (still use it for smaller trips). I needed something big enough for long ADV touring that could carry my GPS, paper maps, and tablet; could expand to fit my rain gear, snacks, miscellaneous stuff; and wouldn't hinder my off-pavement riding particularly when standing. This bag fit the bill perfectly. I love the expansion capabilities - can leave it flat like the picture, wedge the back up to have more space and point the GPS and maps towards your field of vision better, or expand that sucker fully to really load it up. And it even came with a dry bag (the whole bag is not really waterproof but it does provide some waterproofing/water resistance around the zippers and top window). I've been in some light-medium rain so far with no issues. To help with the off-pavement riding particularly with standing I removed the small front pocket-type bag. Really only useful if you are riding turnpike or need to grab small objects fairly quickly because there is plenty of room in the side pockets and inside the bag for just about everything you would want fairly quick access to anyway. Quality bag, great features, large capacity, comes with a dry bag, comes with backpack-type shoulder straps for easy carry, and you can remove the bag from the base and use the base as a map holder. I would highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a diverse large capacity bag...

Very Nice Bag
Bought this to replace my 17 yr old fox shuttle bag. This one and its cheaper cousin were the only one's I could find with 3 external pockets and expandable. I went with this one based on web comments about the cheaper one being pretty flimsy. The X40 is definitely made well and with robust materials. The magnets hold it in place on 3 different bikes - Bandit 1200 (with a vinyl tank cover#, SV1000, and a V-Strom #the front magnets land on the plastic fairing, but it stays put). 2 cons - the clear map pocket is glossy and reflects the sun, and I wish it were a bit wider and a bit shorter. Otherwise, it works extremely well and should last as long as the last tank bag. Between the 2 different expansion methods, this thing gets very large and will hold a lot of stuff. The covered zippers work well at keeping rain out and are easy to open and close. Very nice bag.

This product works great
It was difficult to decide on this product since a video did not exist. A little difficult to see its actual size. My concern was if this would fit my bike and if a laptop and other work essentials would fit in the bag. The answer; the bag fits great on my 2006 Victory jackpot. A laptop fits however, the expansion part is required to fit properly and the laptop sits sorta sideway. I probably maxed out in the wet. but it held wonderfully. It was still cold out so I managed to fit in my winter gloves, face hood, laptop, iPad, lunch bag.
Yep, I do not regret this purchase. I am concerned about scratching the paint on my gas tank so I ordered some protection of that.
