Great for my commute!
I bought this cover to protect my bike on rainy days, on sunny hot days, and to give my bike more visibility while parked in a busy parking lot. The price was right, it is light and packable, and is great for what I am using it for. Easy and fast on and off the bike too! I am happy and feel like I got a great deal!

Great cover for any bike
I ordered the cover in XL and it fits my 2015 R1200GSA fine. It covers the topcase and spreads over the top part of the side cases as well. The front is a little loose when the handlebar is turned, but I don't mind that. It holds up well in heavy downpours. Everything stays dry until the cover comes off. Keeps the sun from beating up the plastic parts and the seat stays nice and cool in the summer months. Great cover.

Great little cover
It took about a week to "break in". I bring this cover with me a lot. I stuff this cover in my backpack and it takes up very little space. Completely covers the top half of my motorcycle.

I will never use a full cover in a parking lot. I have had wind blow a bike over before.

I use a full cover when parked at home out of the wind.

I absolutely love this cover
Bought this cover to put on my bike while at work, keeps the sun and rain off. This fits my Yamaha Bolt like it was custom made for it. Bought the Ginormous one for the hubby's FJR and again its fits perfectly. I would buy this again for sure

Nice fit. Easy carry along.
Bought this for my '83 BMW 80RT. Fully covers windshield, tank, seat and bags. Leaves hot engine open to cool. Easy to pack. Just what was needed on those heavy dew mornings @ Barber.

My son and I will be taking a cross country trip next summer. These covers will work perfectly to cover our sport bikes and take up very little room in our tail bags.

Oxford Umbratex Cover - Med for S1000RR
I got a Medium cover and it fits perfectly over a BMW S1000RR with Kriega US5 on rear seat and tank bag.

Great attachment points will prevent it from flying off in the wind (attaches at front wheel area / rear set pegs / passenger pegs) or whatever configuration you want.

Placing the loops over the pegs is optional. But I would suggest using all the attachment points just in case there is a lot of wind.

I can't speak to the durability or how well it performs in rain / sun yet.

Otherwise it's great.

Got what I paid for
My first use was one heck of a test. I had a nice long ride to the coast and was parked in a hotel lot for 3 days while at a seminar. It rained sideways the whole time. My seat and saddlebags were barely wet. Fits well on my 2009 Suzuki Boulevard C50T.

Looking for a half-cover for my bike when parked to keep the sun and bird-poop off.
Thomas B on Aug 8, 2016
Easy to carry in my backpack and I like to cover it to keep the sun from baking the seat. When it is a 100 degrees outside it really helps to keep the grips and seat from burning you. In that heat it really will burn you if you are not careful. In Texas we wear gloves more in the summer than winter. In the car the steering wheel will burn your hands!

Is the cover waterproof or water resistant?
A shopper on Jun 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Seems to be waterproof for me, it's very substantial material.
Can you put this on a hot motorcycle? Will it trap the heat and cause any damage? I primarily want to use it to keep seat cool and protect the instruments from the sun. Thanks
LBStreetgl on Jun 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: My pipes are high next to the seat and have a shield around them. They are almost touchable even after a long ride. So, I've had no problem with them affecting the cover. I've liked the cover until just recently. I've had it about a year, but several times lately when I've gone to put it on or take it off, the material that is metallic looking has split on me. My guess is that the sun has weakened the surface of whatever that substance is. I'll be replacing it soon, but will probably look for another brand.
is this water proof?
anourath l on Dec 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It's not waterproof, not even close. I don't know where the rest of the guys responding live, but I used it parked on the central coast of California on PCH over night in a heavy fog and (not even rain) and I had to wipe off the moisture on my seat and tank in the morning. It kept the instrumentation fairly dry on my Concours 14 and was better than nothing, but not even remotely close to being water proof. Best use is to keep the hot sun from baking your bike and keeping overnight dew from wetting everything.
what size do I choose for a 2007 Triumph tiger 1050 With bags and Trunk?
Doug C on Aug 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: A bike with a trunk or luggage would need a larger cover. Mine fits over the headlight to the tail light of my 2013 Honda VFR 1200 just fine. If I had luggage I'm certain it wouldn't fit.
I have a 2002 Buell Blast, anyone know if I should get a medium or large?
Elizabeth K on Jul 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have an XL for my Concours 14 with top case. Fits perfectly. I'd get the Large for your Buell just to be on the safe side. The elastic stretch bottom of the cover will ensure a tight fit even if it's a little too big. Better to a little big than too small.
Whats the best cover for an R1200RT for traveling and packs small?
A shopper on Feb 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure how big the R1200RT is but I imagine it is similar to my VFR1200F. I ordered the medium and it covers from headlight to over the tail light. The Velcro straps barely attach to the foot peg brackets but it covers well. I just fold it up and put it in my tank bag and have room for other stuff in there. The material is very light and it can be compressed pretty small. I never tried it, but I think I could probably get it to fit into a quart sized zip lock bag if I wanted to. I am very happy with my cover. I hope this helped.
Will a Large fit a 2013-16 Burgman 650 with a topbox?
Steve G on Jul 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have the Oxford cover and it fits my R1200R with a 38L topbox and touring windshield. Note it is a half-length cover, but key parts of the bike are isolated from the elements (seat, windscreen/instruments, topbox and fairings... Very good value for the price and size!
Hi I have a 1990 harley sportster with 14" tall handle bars and a 12" tall sissy bar. I wand to be able to cover down to the seat and gas tank, what size cover should I get? M, L or XL?
Michael S on Oct 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I bought the XL and use it on my 2015 Indian Roadmaster which has full trunk, bags fairing . I just wanted something to keep the rain off the top of the bike when I am on overnight road trips.
I'm from brazil and i woul'd like to know about the size i need to buy for dl650 abs ?

Tks !
A shopper on Mar 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I suggest you this cover only for scooters and if you dont need full protection of your bike. It is useful to protect only the top of your bike like the controls and the seat but not the engine, chain or wheels. And about the size, it fits well scooters but not really well in larger bikes.
what size do I need for a Honda Shadow Phantom with windshield, rollbag, saddlebags, engine guards?
A C on Aug 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: With all of the extra stuff I would definitely go with the XL. I only had custom mirrors on my bike but even with just those it made the large hard to get on.
