Great Everyday Addition
Important: The second picture is not the product itself but a tiny not-worth-mentioning carrying pouch.
Great for night riding and ugly weather for the daily commuter. What's the point in a full Hi-Vis if your Low-Vis backpack covers 70% of the surface area? A bit on the small side, but it fits all the bags I have fine. I only use it with daypacks or backpacks, think around schoolbag size. The cover itself is basically something of a shower cap, but with two straps for extra security. You could easily make something similar for a lower price, but Oxford delivers good quality. The straps have leather accents as well, which I appreciate. The concept is noting new but it is good one and well-executed by Oxford. Waterproof.

Too small to be usable....
Great quality, very hi viz hellow and silver reflector, BUT.... way too small to be used with any backpacks i own. Great buy if you use child sized backpacks

Michael C: For visibility in the rain! No point in wearing a full hi-vis rain suit if your backpack covers 80% of the surface area of your back! Grabbed it while it was on sale during Black Friday!Nov 30, 2014
Sammy A: The new pack I got is not water proof, so Im hoping this cover fits to protect the pack from unexpected rains. The high-viz color in my opinion is a plus especially cause I live in Cali, and for rider who live here know as soon as it rains cager go crazy on sight of a little water. Never hurts to be seen.Apr 3, 2014
Michael C asked:Does it go over the straps on the backpack or something? Or does it have it's own straps or holes in it or something? I can't wrap my head around how these work.Nov 29, 2014
Eric F:I purchased earlier this year and have really only used it a few times. It's smaller than what I imagined. It will fit a typical school-sized backpack. It has a strong elastic band that forms around the back of the pack. It also has two elastic straps that pass underneath the backpack straps and secure with snap fasteners. It is attached pretty securely to the backpack. I find the biggest limitation is its small size. Maybe it would stretch with use overtime but the backpack that i normally use is significantly larger than a typical school-sized backpack and so I haven't tried to stretch it any. I tried to copy some pictures for you but I was unsuccessful! Hope I answered your question.
Eric J:It is not on your backpack straps...It is like a big elastic with a big waterproof pouch all around. You just have to wrap this elastic all around your backpack straps and it is cover up with the waterproof pouch. Hope it helps you.... Eric.Nov 29, 2014
Thang D:This is like a big shower cap, but with 2 extra elastic straps that cross it on either ends. This is smaller than expected. It does not fit over my Icon tank backpack (intended purpose), much less a child's backpack. It might contain a large women's purse though... It does fit my Dakine 18-22L bicycle backpack; so, I guess it isn't a total loss..

Kent B:It has two small elastic straps that go around your backpack, hugging it, and snap to the opposite side. An elastic border primarily holds the cover in place. The elastic border does go over the shoulder straps and can make it a bit more challenging to put your backpack on. Think of an elastic shower cap with two small straps crossing where your head would go through. It is not a perfect fit but has always kept my pack dry and adds some visibility.Nov 29, 2014
