Keep your hands warm!
Love these heated grips! I live in the San Francisco bay area where the average temperature is around 55-60*F these grips do an amazing job on high keeping your hands toasty warm. If you keep your hands on to long they get a little to hot, easy fix just take your hand off for a few seconds to cool the grips.

get 'em while they're hot
If you ride in an area where temperatures drop below 55 degrees, do your hands a favor a grab a pair of these. The return on investment is huge (in terms of riding comfort) and installation CAN be a breeze (with the exception of getting the bar-ends off and removing the fairing to get a clean install on the control module). You will need to drill two holes in your fairing, one for the control module and one for the LED indicator. The grips themselves are thicker than the stock grips I removed, but I feel that adds the comfort. While riding between 45 and 50 degree weather I find myself switching between the “low” and “high” settings while riding because the high setting can get uncomfortably hot and the “low” setting is lukewarm at best. For reference; I ride with a pair of Icon TiMax TRX short gloves.

tony m: I have purchased Oxford heated grips before and like the quality and ease of installation. The price was in my comfort zone. Tony MarchmanJan 8, 2015
karen k asked:what size handlebars does this fit? I bought one that said was universal for cruiser bikes which mine is, then when I got the package it said up to seven and seven inches. my handle bars were an inch. don't understand why the sizes aren't listed on here!Apr 20, 2015
tony m:Hi Karen, The grips will fit the bars that are 7/8" diameter. Even then they are very tight and I have to grind or sand out the interior of the grip to get it to fit. I am sure they make these for your 1" bars. You just need to specify that when ordering. I love their heated grips. I have installed them on all three of my bikes. Once you have heated grips they will be a necessary item on your future bikes. I hope this helps Tony in TennesseeApr 20, 2015
