Practical no fluffs indoor cover
I was searching for a good looking indoor cover for my sport bike(s), which are always parked in the garage. Something that looks good on the bike to keep off the dust and provide a little protection. The Oxford-Dormex did the trick. I liked it so much I am going to order another one for my other bike.
It is very thin so in order to beef up the "protection factor" in case of a slight bump etc. I placed an old soft-shop blanket over my bike and then the cover on top of that for added protection.
It appears to be well constructed and covers the entire bike with an excellent fit. For others that are looking for the same application I strongly recommend.

Not Much to this Cover - Strictly Inside Use
This cover is very, very minimal/lightweight. It is made out of the same poor quality fabric that a lot of the free or minimal cost grocery store reusable bags are made of. It will work fine for dust protection, but that's about it. It will be of practically no use for anything except that. It's certainly inexpensive as covers go, but you don't get much for your money. It does appear to be assembled well (stitching, etc) and it looks nice and hides the bike. If dust resistance is your only requirement, and protection from the occasional bump or garage mishap is NOT a concern, then this should suffice.

Great cover, but a bit smaller than anticipated.
I really have no complaints about the cover. It seems to be designed pretty well and should almost do the job. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size. I saw some other comments that a "Medium" fits Harley Sportsters well (with room to spare). Apparently, my V Star 650 Custom is a bit larger than the Sportster. It mostly fits, but the lower half of the wheels are exposed. If I loosen the mirrors with a wrench and collapse them, it fits much better. While that is fine for winter storage, it is a little bit of an annoyance if I just want to park my bike in the garage for a couple days. I guess a Large would have fit better. Anyway, it's still a good product. I'll just have to work with it a little.

Paul B:I have the large cover on a 1982 Honda900C which is a long bike and the cover is slightly larger than the bike but still fits fine. This is an indoor cover only so its ok if the cover is larger than the bike. Medium might be too small. Better too big than too smallMar 20, 2015
Eric H:I used this cover with a Ducati 696 Monster and it was roomy. I sold the bike and the cover. I own a S1000R now and have a tight small BMW cover on it. I believe this medium sized cover would fit your S1000RRMar 20, 2015
Paul B:Ivar, What a beautiful bike. I just bought a Dormex cover in large for my Honda CB900 Custom which is 8 ft long, 4 ft high and 3 ft wide. The cover is a bit too large but still works just fine. Your bike is about the same size so the cover should work fine. BTW its a really great cover, lightweight, strong, and breathable. FYI its really a dust-cover for indoor use. Paul BDec 1, 2014
