Simple installation and works great!
Installation was very quick...less than 3 minutes. It easily attached to the clutch box. I added a little blue Loctite and have had no issues. Overall, the unit isn't the most attractive on the market, but it's very functional and costs significantly less than clocks that mount directly to a handlebar.

I have been looking for a quality bike clock for over 30 years. .
Finally no more commuting to work trying to see my wrist watch between glove and jacket. And it is solidly constructed, keeps time, has a japanese movement and reputed 4 year battery life. Easy to fit hardware and good instructions. Buy several before they stop making them.

Not bad at all
Ok so I received this item yesterday and got it mounted (takes about 2 mins) and it seems nice and sturdy. I did use some blue loctite to ensure that the vibrations of the bike won't losen the screw. Only downside in my opinion is that I wish if you ordered the black one that the mounting bracket would be black as well. Think I am actually going to take mine off and paint the bracket black. Anyway it seems to be a nice product but only time will tell how it holds up to the elements.

Richard P asked:Just curious as to the ability to change the battery in this item? I have seen some that you can and some that you cannot and the description does not say. Thank you in advance.Jun 2, 2014
Alf M:Unfortunately I will probably return this item unopened. It comes on a piece of cardboard that is vacuum wrapped in plastic, so I cannot see whether the battery is replaceable. The item is made in China and comes with what seems like a flimsy piece of metal that is supposed to attach to an available fastner (if you happen to have one) somewhere on your handlebars. I'm not confident that this is a good long term mounting solution. Jun 3, 2014
Interesting...the one I got came in a package that I was able to open and check and it in fact can be replaced. Also the piece of metal that comes with it so you can mount it on one of the control casings is pretty sturdy. Only thing I wish was that if you order the black one is that the metal bracket would be black as well.
