Effective, excellent value I got this balaclava to protect my (very handsome, obviously) face from the small amount of air leaking through my face-shield when it was below freezing. I'd already been using a snood, but when it got really cold that wasn't enough. It's very comfortable, breathes well and I'd recommend it. February 16, 2016
Does the Trick It certainly makes riding in the winter warmer. I drove it in some light rain last week and my neck stayed dry. The stitching doesn't really bother me, but I can see why it would be uncomfortable for some people. I have a big head, so I got the large and it is still a little hard to get on and off. Once on it is snug, but still comfortable. February 5, 2016
No more cold rides works very good my face is never cold anymore got it when it was close to half price so very good deal January 20, 2016
Keeps the cold out It works well for keeping the cold out. The only problem I have with it is while putting my helmet on over it it stretches and ends up not covering your nose anymore. The material seems to have stretched and is permanently loose fitting now as a result of trying to keep it in place while putting my helmet on. I have different one that is connected over the bride of my nose and it does not suffer from this problem. January 20, 2016
Is best for cold and wind When i ride protect me for the wind the dust its a great product January 19, 2016
Chillout It's perfectly. Ride in 32 degree weather and it still does exactly what it says it does. Love this thing. January 19, 2016
Great feel and comfort Works really well of blocking the wind. In Florida it don't get super cold, but it helps alot at highway speeds. January 19, 2016
Does what you'd expect it to. Some minor annoyances. I bought this balaclava to help shield me from the cold winds that come with the onset of winter. Even in California, things get a bit chilly riding to work at 7 am. The mask did its job.It kept me warm while also looking very stylish. Although I found it hard to breathe my first couple uses, I concluded that I just needed to get use to it after that feeling of labored breathing went away after a while. I only have 2 minor complaints. 1, there was a lot of loose threading near the inside of the nose/mouth area. There were 2 or 3 occasions were I had to cut pieces of loose thread that were irritating my nose/upper lip. Very annoying, but once you get that out of the way, the mask feels fine. 2, while the inside is soft for the most part, there is a line in the stitching where the 2 halfs of the balaclava meet which runs up both sides of the mask and goes over your ears. During extended periods of riding, these protrusions start becoming painful. It's only a slight annoyance when the mask is still on, but most of the pain comes when you take the mask off and release the pressure. There have been instances where my ears were red as tomatoes. This could depend on how your head is shaped and how your helmet fits, obviously, but my experience with this mask told me to stay away from using it on long distance riding. If you're a rider with a short commute(30-45 minutes) and non-sensitive ears, I can definitely recommend this balaclava. January 19, 2016
