a good 4 season rain suit I have only taken this rain suit out for a couple rainy rides, but it does its job. I didn't get wet at all and the interior moister isn't a big problem either. I am happy overall with the suit. I would recommend it to a friend. November 19, 2014
Poor Quality These pants might be ok for riding around town, but on the open highway, at 50+ mph, the Velcro does stay attached by your feet. Mine kept coming loose and eventually ripped the leg seams. Would not buy this brand again. October 29, 2014
Excellent product The only thing I can find negative about these pants is the length. If I was 7' tall they would be perfect. On the upside, they do have velcro fasteners to keep the legs from sliding under your boots. I've only tried them on so can't say what they will be like in a rainstorm but have no doubt they will function as advertised. I also like the fact that they arrived in three days. I cancelled an order from another retailer after waiting three weeks for them to ship. October 27, 2014
Purchased to go with the Olympia rain jkt Needed summer rain pant to compliment the Olympia rain jkt. Easy on and off. Having Hi Viz in the rain I believe is important for a motorcycle rider. Like the jkt these pants have not yet been rain tested. The leg is very long but I feel that while riding they will not ride up the leg. If after a time I feel they are just too long will have them shortened. Quality is very good. Did a store pick up while in Philly for a few days. Excellent service from REVZILLA. September 24, 2014
OLYMPIA QUALITY Great rain gear, keeps you dry, Has a stuff sack and very hi viz. Excellent quality. September 22, 2014
Keeps me dry and is easy to adjust These rain pants have worked well for me. I've had them for about 2 months now, and twice have ridden with them on for several hundred miles each time in steady rain. They kept me dry every time. The Velcro adjustment at the ankle and calf works for me pretty well, as does the cinch around the waist. I'm 5'7", 150 lbs., with a 31" waist. I ordered a XS/S, and the length is about right, although for me the waist is a little snug when putting them on over jeans. The waist size is fine once I get them on though, and they cinch pretty well on each side of the waist. They have no pockets and provide no access to my jeans pockets though, and I've had to undo them around the waist several times to dig keys or other items out of my jeans pockets. That's probably not a negative though, because that's one less area to for rain to penetrate. They also have no side zippers, but slide on instead. So far that's been fine, I put my boot covers on first and the pants slide over my covered boots just fine. I must admit that I have no point of comparison since this is the first pair of rain pants that I've owned, but they work great and I would highly recommend them based on my experience. Well made I purchased the pants for my wife and I. Have not had the opportunity to use them in rain yet, so I can not honestly comment on protection and durability or air flow. The review guidelines do not allow me to leave these ratings blank, so I rated them as average. But they are high quality and I fell comfortable they will perform admirably. September 14, 2014
excellent rain pant..but have a seamstress ready. ! A bit pricey compared wifh Blauer but very good quality. I am 6" 210lbs..34 waist 33 inseam...originally ordered XL....waaay to large.. M/L is a bit snug around the waist, but the length is very long nessecitating the need to have them hemmed. No big deal, any first year seamstress can handle...just make sure you simulate sitting on your bike while taking measurments. Rain protection is first rate.. September 13, 2014

S T: My Cortech jacket has already proven its waterproof credentials but I needed something to wear over my Olympic summer weight mesh pants in case of rain. The combination of the mesh riding pants with knee and hip protection and abrasion resistant cordura material along with the Horizon Rain Pants may allow me the freedom to keep wearing the Olympic riding pants when its warm and dry and to have the rain pants handy in my saddlebags as needed. William H: I got M/ L for both pants & jacket. I am 5-8 / 180, 34-30 pants. Pants fit OK but too long for my stubby legs, but can be cinched up tight. Jacket fits good. Both fit good over my other full gear. Would be baggy without full gear. Good luck. Apr 27, 2014

Bob C: you had length shortened ? I need same thing ? How did it work with velcro set up ? did you go to regulate seamstress or someone who specializes with this type material ? Oct 27, 2014

Steve H: I used the size chart and they fit properly. I did have them shortened because I have a short inseam. They fit over my jeans and boots and look trim. Apr 25, 2014

Louis D: Definitely larger but not tent like. Generally large form over standard gear, a little long in the leg(32") for me in a large, but not unmanageable. Apr 26, 2014

BARRY P: Yes and no.
First of all they're awesome pants, and well designed. They *do* fit according to the size chart (in terms of waist size, and ability to use them as overpants). That being said, they are *WAY* long. However, the design is such that you can bring them to a tailor and hem up to 6" shorter (I took 4" inches off, and they're still long enough to cover everything in a tuck, and they fasten as they're supposed to at the boot, just the same as if they were never hemmed).

Thumbs up on these pants...

Theodore H asked: How's the length? I'm near the high end of the M/L according to the size guide (6'1 - 180) and want to be sure that would be long enough. Hate to size up if it means wearing overly long, ballooning pants. Jan 25, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Stephen H: Length is good. I'm 6'0 195 lb and was worried when I made the order that they would be too short. But their length is perfect, with a little extra. So I think you at 6'1" 180 should be good. Jan 30, 2014

thomas w: I am 5'11" and wear a 36 x 30 pant. The Horizon pants are very long, almost too long by about 3 - 4 " for me. I don't mind the length because I don't want them to be short or ride-up when riding. The cut of the pants is pretty wide for easy of putting them on while wearing boots, but ballooning may be somewhat of an issue. I "fortunately" haven't needed to wear them as of yet, however I intend to position a Velcro strap or two over the pant to reduce the excess material from flapping because they appear to be a wider cut. There are other brands with a more narrow cut, but you have to remove your boots to put the pant on and in the rain that's not very functional. I do recommend the Horizon rain pants for quality material, craftsmanship and value.

Barry M: I am 5 ft 9 in and weight 175 with a 34 in. waist. The legs are plenty long, probably have at least 3 in. extra. The waist is ok but over jeans and a tucked in shirt the pants could be sized a little bigger in the waist.
Great rain suit as i was in the rain for 10 hours on my way to Texas and did not get a bit wet

Scott P: I have also had bad experiences with gear that says it is rain proof and would always end up leaking after the second or third storm. I ride pretty much everyday in FL so I was able to test them out fairly regularly. In addition, I have taken a few extended trips to the NC mountains and have stayed dry each time. So far, these are the best rain pants I have used. Jan 3, 2014

Bob C asked: pants are to long, where does one go ? seamstress or someone who specializes with working with this type material ? Once hemmed, was velcro relocated ? How did it work ? Oct 27, 2014

Gary K: Even I at 5"10" find the pants to be a little long, but prefer to just live with it. Once I'm actually seated on the bike, the natural bend of the knees takes up a couple of inches, and then I pull them up to be a little baggy above the knees which doesn't interfere at all with riding. Unless you are very short in height, I'd think this is preferable to altering the pants. If you must, then e-mail Olympia directly and ask for their advice. The owner is very knowledgable. Michael F: Bob, I have a short inseam but did not shorten my rain pants. I found I tend to hike them up under my jacket and also when you are seated the leg bottoms rise a bit anyways. Also depends what you wear for boot protection. Oct 27, 2014

William R: I talked to the boys at Olympia. Mine were long too being a short body. They told me not to hem them. When I used then it made them easier to put on and fit over my boots. Just pulled them tight Oct 27, 2014

clive h: I did not need to alter mine, but I think most alteration shops could make any alterations you might need. Good luck and ride safe! Oct 27, 2014

paule: I ride a Gold Wing that has protective shields over the pipe, never a problem. but on my Harley, you must be careful to keep you legs away for the hot areas. And they do have nomax built in. May 16, 2013

Jacket Size Guidelines
We suggest you use these size charts as a general guide. Variables in weight distribution and height may alter the appropriate size range indicated. As a general rule Olympia Jackets are designed in America, with an "American" body in mind. As such, you will find that Olympia tend to fit more generously than European brands (such as REV'IT!, Dainese, Alpinestars and Spidi). If you are in between sizes, we recommend to you to err on the smaller side.

Pant Sizing Guidelines
Olympia pants fit true to size. If you intend on using them as over pants, please go one size up.

Inseam Lengths
Olympia pants are cut with generous inseams to accommodate various riding positions. Olympia EZ hem bottoms (can be hemmed up to six inches) and adjustable knee armor help riders achieve a custom fit
