Well made I purchased the pants for my wife and I. Have not had the opportunity to use them in rain yet, so I can not honestly comment on protection and durability or air flow. The review guidelines do not allow me to leave these ratings blank, so I rated them as average. But they are high quality and I fell comfortable they will perform admirably. September 14, 2014
excellent rain pant..but have a seamstress ready. ! A bit pricey compared wifh Blauer but very good quality. I am 6" 210lbs..34 waist 33 inseam...originally ordered XL....waaay to large.. M/L is a bit snug around the waist, but the length is very long nessecitating the need to have them hemmed. No big deal, any first year seamstress can handle...just make sure you simulate sitting on your bike while taking measurments. Rain protection is first rate.. September 13, 2014
Good, economical rain pant The Olympia Horizon rain pants do the job and the hi-viz version provides excellent visibility. They do stay dry, but as with any rain suit they're a bit warm. The built in storage pocket is a great feature. August 25, 2014
Good pants for long legged people I am 6'1" tall with a 36" inseam and all the rain suits seem to have pants with only 31" inseam. I called Revzilla and the rep on the phone suggested these pants as they are longer than most. Glad I got them as they were long enough and the others would have been many inches short. They seem really long when you are standing with them on but when I sit on the scooter they are perfect length and protect my ankles and tops of my shoes. The waist is high as well to keep rain from blowing up the bottom of the jacket and over the top of the pants. Good design. August 20, 2014
Great product Just came back from an Edelweis tour in Norway, rained every day, I never got wet, great product. August 18, 2014
A pretty good pair of rain pants. The one thing I really like how easily these pants are to put on even with boots on. I like the idea it has Nomex so it won't melt against my pipes. It fits well over my jeans and keeps me dry in at least a medium steady rain. I don't see why it wouldn't keep me dry in torrential rains either. It seems like it should be more durable than the cheap $20 suits. It should for the price. But the value is still decent when compared to the prices at the dealership. As always, Revzilla does a great job. Both on the phone and in their Philadelphia showroom. August 14, 2014
Functions well Pant can be pulled on over boots and then Velcro snugged around the boot and ankle. Wind does not whip the pant at speed on a GS. August 11, 2014
Great product great price Shortly after the pants arrived I got caught in a torrential downpour. Rode for several miles in the storm and did not get wet. The pants you can snug them up on your calves and ankles to keep water from spraying in. Very pleased with how easy the pants pulled on over my riding boots. Great visibility as well. July 16, 2014

William H: I got M/ L for both pants & jacket. I am 5-8 / 180, 34-30 pants. Pants fit OK but too long for my stubby legs, but can be cinched up tight. Jacket fits good. Both fit good over my other full gear. Would be baggy without full gear. Good luck. Apr 27, 2014

Steve H: I used the size chart and they fit properly. I did have them shortened because I have a short inseam. They fit over my jeans and boots and look trim. Apr 25, 2014

Louis D: Definitely larger but not tent like. Generally large form over standard gear, a little long in the leg(32") for me in a large, but not unmanageable. Apr 26, 2014

BARRY P: Yes and no.
First of all they're awesome pants, and well designed. They *do* fit according to the size chart (in terms of waist size, and ability to use them as overpants). That being said, they are *WAY* long. However, the design is such that you can bring them to a tailor and hem up to 6" shorter (I took 4" inches off, and they're still long enough to cover everything in a tuck, and they fasten as they're supposed to at the boot, just the same as if they were never hemmed).

Thumbs up on these pants...

Theodore H asked: How's the length? I'm near the high end of the M/L according to the size guide (6'1 - 180) and want to be sure that would be long enough. Hate to size up if it means wearing overly long, ballooning pants. Jan 25, 2014

thomas w: I am 5'11" and wear a 36 x 30 pant. The Horizon pants are very long, almost too long by about 3 - 4 " for me. I don't mind the length because I don't want them to be short or ride-up when riding. The cut of the pants is pretty wide for easy of putting them on while wearing boots, but ballooning may be somewhat of an issue. I "fortunately" haven't needed to wear them as of yet, however I intend to position a Velcro strap or two over the pant to reduce the excess material from flapping because they appear to be a wider cut. There are other brands with a more narrow cut, but you have to remove your boots to put the pant on and in the rain that's not very functional. I do recommend the Horizon rain pants for quality material, craftsmanship and value.

Barry M: I am 5 ft 9 in and weight 175 with a 34 in. waist. The legs are plenty long, probably have at least 3 in. extra. The waist is ok but over jeans and a tucked in shirt the pants could be sized a little bigger in the waist.
Great rain suit as i was in the rain for 10 hours on my way to Texas and did not get a bit wet

Stephen H: Length is good. I'm 6'0 195 lb and was worried when I made the order that they would be too short. But their length is perfect, with a little extra. So I think you at 6'1" 180 should be good. Jan 30, 2014

Greg P: I think the pants run a little long. I am 5 10, 32 in inseam. Bought the small and they fit good over my regular motorcycle pants that have armor Jan 31, 2014

clive h: I would order the large, I am a couple inches shorter than you but there is plenty of length. Good pant for the money. Safe riding! Jan 29, 2014

A shopper asked: question is are they really rain proof ? I have had many rain paints over the years and very few have keep me dry in a extended ride in the rain

Scott P: I have also had bad experiences with gear that says it is rain proof and would always end up leaking after the second or third storm. I ride pretty much everyday in FL so I was able to test them out fairly regularly. In addition, I have taken a few extended trips to the NC mountains and have stayed dry each time. So far, these are the best rain pants I have used. Jan 3, 2014

paule: I ride a Gold Wing that has protective shields over the pipe, never a problem. but on my Harley, you must be careful to keep you legs away for the hot areas. And they do have nomax built in. May 16, 2013

Jacket Size Guidelines
We suggest you use these size charts as a general guide. Variables in weight distribution and height may alter the appropriate size range indicated. As a general rule Olympia Jackets are designed in America, with an "American" body in mind. As such, you will find that Olympia tend to fit more generously then European brands (such as REV'IT!, Dainese, Alpinestars and Spidi). If you are in between sizes, we recommend to you to err on the smaller side.

Pant Sizing Guidelines
Olympia pants fit true to size. If you intend on using them as over pants, please go one size up.

Inseam Lengths
Olympia pants are cut with generous inseams to accommodate various riding positions. Olympia EZ hem bottoms (can be hemmed up to six inches) and adjustable knee armor help riders achieve a custom fit
