So many POCKETS! This is my second backpack I bought for riding and I am completely satisfied with it. The finish looks great and feels durable. You can't go wrong with this backpack if you have a lot of stuff you need to carry. I usually don't fill up all the pockets. I use this on my commute to school. October 13, 2014
Fantastic Backpack for School and Motorcycling Alike I purchased this backpack about 10 months ago and it looks and performs just as it had the first day I bought it. I will say immediately it is a fantastic backpack that is strong and I believe will stand the test of time and not wear out anytime in the near future. In my case it typically holds 15 pounds of luggage and is still comfortable to wear while walking and riding. In the rain the only thing that gets wet is the two bottom open pouches, the rest is completely waterproof. I will now go on to tell you how I use my backpack. I typically keep my walking shoes in the main compartment along with some binders and books. I have some folders and a drawing tablet in the secondary compartment. The pocket for the tablet is soft but sturdy so so it will not sway around even if you hit a pothole in the road. The last compartment has a space for 4 pencils/pens, a mouse compartment, a passport compartment where I keep my Nintendo 3ds, and an extra little zip-able pocket where you could keep something such as a small knife or an sd card. The top pocket which has the Ogio logo on it is the perfect size for a college level graphing calculator, protractor, and spare batteries. Inside the tech pocket I keep my glasses in for use at school. The top two side pockets are god for holding wires such as aux cables, phones, ipods, and extra writing utensils. The bottom two pockets are more open to the air and could hold a water bottle, waterproof gloves, but will not fit a typical laptop charger; only the detachable wire on the charger. The laptop pouch fits my Lenovo y510p, although I have to push it down while zipping the compartment up. I have no doubt that it is safe inside of it though, as it has a soft inner lining and the suspension system Ogio put into it. The only complainants I have is while has a good amount of space in it, it fails to hold 4 large college books and 3 small binders inside of it I need on a daily basis, but for the typical person, it should be large enough. It is also moderately expensive but it has more than enough features and backed with quality to make up for it. September 1, 2014
Exactly What I was Looking For It was exactly what I was looking for. A quality backpack that I can carry my laptop and other work material that is functional but professional enough to carry into work. June 30, 2014
Love this Backpack I use this as my commuter bag for work and normally have a laptop computer in there and miscellaneous other stuff. So having a medium weight to carry, it fits great, stays snug to the body, doesn't tire out my back, and keeps me as cool as I can expect (better than the last one I had). It is very good quality and I expect this will last a long time. I absolutely would recommend this for someone looking for a bag to use for work/school. May 15, 2014
Fabulous... Excellent quality. The materials are great. Ergonomic and very easy to access. The pockets and zippers are great in size and place. Excellent product overall... March 23, 2014
This backpack has pockets for everything This back pack is great and has pockets for everything. I just wish the main compartment could be bigger. But as far as a laptop carrying back pack it is awesome. January 7, 2014
Best backpack I've owned... and I've been through a lot!! Has everything I wanted in a backpack and more! Comfortable, well built and extremely functional as I carry all sorts of stuff, the section on top for sunnies is pretty cool, I even use it for storing smaller items I want to access fast or protect from getting crushed. RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
scott y: I was looking for a high quality backpack for riding with my briefcase stuff to work. Its exactly what I was looking for.

Update: I used the backpack for a couple weeks. I like it and still use it occasionally but the straps are thin and hard to get on over leather. I ended up getting the American Cargo Trooper and its perfect.

minh t: going on a 6 states 4 days ride - needed a bigger pack to carry enough for the trip with also keeping some aerodynamic. Mar 28, 2014
A shopper asked: Is it good keeping things dry?I live in FL and get rained on while riding all the time; need all my things 100% dry in Heavy downpours? Sep 17, 2014

Peter S: I like in Brisbane Australia and also get heavy rain. I purchased the Ogio Renegade Aug 2014 and I'm really satisfied with it.

The zips are not water resistant type but the rain I've been caught in has not entered the bag even though I've been soaked. As a precaution I have a large dry bag to put stuff in. I wouldn't expect even a water resistant zip / bag to keep rain out at speed.

The bag has much more usable capacity than my previous pack, a 30 litre day pack.

The construction is excellent and the comfort is high even when the bag is full and heavy.

The laptop compartment is brilliant although it just fits my 15". I need to remove my soft laptop cover to fit it in easily. No way I can see a 17" fitting in there.

I am really impressed with the quality, function and form of the pack and highly recommend it.

David S: A slight drizzle is no problem...but it is not a dry bag and won't keep out the heavy rain.

It is a great bag though.

A shopper asked: Does this pack have a rain cover? Feb 9, 2014

Chad W: No rain cover, however I've had it in every weather condition possible and it's heavy duty. Best bag I've ever owned. The organizational capabilities of this bag are by far the best part. My occupation requires me to travel and live on the road almost ten months of the year, I'm always super confident that all of my items be it my passport, my laptop, iPad, iPod, clothes, chargers, toiletries etc. etc. are easily organized, inventoried and accessible. It has defiantly helped in making my every day life easier and more organized. I'll reorder this bag again when it's time. Feb 10, 2014

A shopper asked: Will this back pack fit a full faced helmet inside? the main compartment? Dec 11, 2013

Rob B: Just tried to fit my full face helmet in and it doesn't even come close to fitting in this bag. Dec 12, 2013

Martin S: Most definitely not. This back pack has so many compartments that it does not have one large space. I can fit my laptop, two books, an iPad, and all my charging accessories. Along with glasses, and a ton more stuff.

It's a good commuter bag, but a helmet holder it is not.

Build quality is good though. Using it daily for school, work, and riding since march, and all the stitching is still perfect
