Almost big enough I debated between the 9400 and the 9800 before buying the nuclear red 9400. The bag is very well made and you can't miss it when it pops out on the luggage carousel. I used it recently on a European track school trip. When packing I loaded up my Dainese race suit, boots, gloves, back protector, miscellaneous clothes, undersuits etc. I initially packed my helmet in it as well-there was adequate room- just. . It has a helmet section with padding secured by velcro. I used extra padding around my helmet, then changed my mind. I've seen airlines stack bags 6 deep or more on their loading containers and I decided I wouldn't risk a pricey helmet. And the helmet does take up a chunk of space. I think if you bought the 9800 you would find that there is enough extra space to really pad your helmet for transport. I bought an Ogio Head Case bag and took my helmet as carry on for the peace of mind. For track days I drive to, the bag is perfect and I carry my helmet in it. So if you do lots of airline travel and want to pack your helmet in your checked bag, get the bigger version so you have the extra space for supplemental padding. Overall, a well made, very easy to use, and very distinctive bag. September 6, 2013
Excellent for hauling a lot of gear Bought this bag for a trip to Scotland and N Ireland. One really important thing to look for in a bag are good rollers and the bag's ability to stand up vertically. A bag that is always falling over whenever you let go of the handle is a real pain. You can pack 2 boots, helmet, leather jacket, pants, shirts, undies, etc. Very well made. I did check out other gear bags at a local store and found the $110 bags not worth the money. Nice styling, too. May 14, 2012
