Nolan N43E Trilogy Voyage Helmet

6-in-1 design 

The New Nolan N43E Trilogy Helmet is a crossover design with quick-change accessories that allows for customized looks and functions for every ride. The helmet comes with the clear shield, the integrated sun shield, the peak and the removable chinbar. The Lexan chinbar is EPS lined and mounted with strong stainless-steel latches, so it passes the tests for full-face helmets of the European standard ECE-2205.  VPS (Vision Protection System) features a short dark shield mounted on the inside of the helmet which moves independently from the face shield. It provides real eye protection and is also available in amber, light blue and light smoke as an accessory.  The VPS is easily operated by a large rubber coated slider on the left side of the helmet.

  • Includes a Pinlock antifog insert  
  • The short black peak can be installed in seconds instead of the clear shield 
  • Ready for the N-Com communication system 
  • Lightweight aerodynamic polycarbonate shell with built-in spoiler for improved stability 
  • Fully removable and washable Clima-Comfort liner is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and wicking 
  • Super-efficient JSW top vent with exhaust grid in the rear spoiler; works in conjunction with the air  channels along the crown
  • Microlock (adjustable quick-release) retention system 
  • Velour chin-strap padding 
  • 3.6lbs with all accessories
  • Both D.O.T. and ECE certified

Great helmet This is my first helmet and I really like it. I purchased according to the size chart using my metric measurement and it fits well. The chin bar is a little close, even on the new N43e, but it doesn't touch my chin. I really like the helmet with the chin bar removed and the full face shield down. June 11, 2013
Nolan Means Quality This is my second Nolan helmet. I ordered an N104 and found the fit to be too small. I was impressed with the quality so I ordered the N43e Trilogy. After my experience with the N104, I ordered a size larger tha the Nolan size chart recommends. This one fits perfectly. Again, the quality and craftsmanship is excellent. I love the versatility of this helmet. I can ride with shield open or closed. Air flow is fantastic. I don't feel "closed in" like a full face or even like the N104. This is the best helmet that I have owned and Revzilla has the best price! May 13, 2013
Never again! Never again will I purchase a Nolan Helmet. Cons: 1. Internal drop down visor doesn't work very well, hard to get up and down. 2. Not a whole lotta padding going on inside the helmet. Sounds like a styrofoam icechest putting it on. Very uncomfortable. 3. Noisy, Noisy, Noisy 4. Pressure spots around the back of my ears. Pros: 1. Looks fantastic 2. Love the rachet chin strap 3. Great helmet This helmet is an upgrade from my older HJC's It is very comfortable, but maybe a little smaller than the same size HJC The clip off chin bar is awesome and the wide view is unbelievable. It is also fairly quiet I great purchase!. April 22, 2013

Best Helmet Ever I've worn lots of motorcycle helmets in my 47 years of biking. The Nolan N43 and the N43e are the only helmets I can truly say are my favorites above all I have owned! I love the versatility from a completely full faced helmet to an open faced 3/4 helmet both with a disappearing sliding sun visor. It fits like a glove and as cool as you can get with the easy flow through ventilation openings, one in front and the two in back of the helmet. I LOVE this helmet and I can't understand why everyone isn't wearing one! Choke up and get one from REVZILLA... today! April 3, 2013
Good, not perfect I bought this helmet primarily for the flexibility of the design and it definitely delivers on that. It also looks pretty cool (especially with the smoke/mirrored optional shield that I would definitely recommend getting). Also, the visibility with the helmet is phenomenal, probably the best you can get in what is effectively a full-face helmet with the chin bar and shield on. And it does include the pin lock anti-fog insert which is great. The fit is a little on the round side, as described in the review. The only kinda weird thing is getting it on/off is not all that easy due to the narrowness around the ears. Good news is that when it's finally on your head, it's very comfortable. I've tried the Shoei Qwest and Arai Vector 2 and this fits about the same other than the on/off tightness. Now the negative-it's loud at speed on the highway. I wasn't really prepared for how loud it is. I've never ridden with earplugs or my ipod on but I think I will now that I have this helmet. It's also kinda heavy when you have the shield and chinbar on. I've yet to ride without, it's still too cold for that, but you would shed a significant amount of weight by taking those things off. All in all, I would recommend the helmet, you just have to be ok with having something pretty loud when riding at highway speeds. April 2, 2013
Great Value, Great Helmet, Great Store! Just got this helmet and I love it. Very comfortable and the vision field is exceptional. Flexibility with the chin bar, open face, etc., makes it one of the most dynamic helmets on the market. Can't wait for future models to see what innovations are developed. I only rated the durability as good since time will tell that but on the protection side it seems to be a solid helmet. Hope to never really find out !!! Great bang for the buck and Revzilla is my preferred store, great customer service and they know what they are talking about. Helmet and Store is an awsome combination !!! March 25, 2013

Yes, the Sena SMH-10 will be compatible with the Nolan N43E Helmet but only if you use the sticky part, not the clamp system. The reason for that is that the bottom neck part of the helmet is curved towards the inside of the helmet, and does not allow to install the clamp system without having to cut through that plastic liner part.

Not sure about the SMH10 but the SMH5 fits fine. It is a bit smaller than the "10" and I used the included adhesive mount to attach it to the side of the helmet. The wires routed easily underneath the removable ear padding.

Depending on the size, we find the Nolan N43E helmets to weigh in the 3-1/2 pound (estimated) that is much lighter than traditional modular helmets.

As close as you can get! The helmet is a nice shade of yellow, not the neon type at all but a rick deep yellow. Seriously, I do believe whole heartedly it is as close as you can get it! Heck, try one and if you don't like it for any reason, Revzilla will be happy to take it back!
