Nolan N43E Trilogy Voyage Helmet
One of a kind helmet. Near perfect!
This is my second N43E helmet. Unfortunately it's being discontinued for the N44 which is significantly different. I'm from maine and ride about 10k a year. I like to ride with the visor on, faceshield off and chinbar on. Not mayn't road helmets allow this configuration. I have found the helmet very comfortable and (when the faceshield is on) quiet. It isn't the lightest but it does so many things. It's very easy to install speakers. The internal slide down visor works like a charm (unlike the new N44). The new N44 when faceshield is off looks totally like an off-road helmet whereas this helmet looks pretty perfect on the road. The original version of the N43 did not allow for the faceshield to be placed in an open position but the last design does allow for it. The faceshield attachment pins also got replaced. Don't know why. On the original one you could change from faceshield to visor (or vice-versa) in about 15 seconds without rushing. Luckily you can replace the faceshield pins with the original pins. Overall an incredible and unique helmet that fits all my needs, and probably yours. I hope that Noln brings it back because the N44 isn't the helmet that the N43e is. Ride a 1992 BMW K75s and a 2004 BMW K1200rs, not at the same time.

I love it!
I wear it with the cap-like visor on, and the sun visor. I do not use the full-clear visor. I also keep on the mouth/chin guard. This is a great, light combination, that provides excellent visibility for me. More compliments on this helmet than any other I have owned. I feel safe and protected!

Amazing field of vision, balanced & light weight, numerous configurations, and winning intercom system (optional)
I have had four helmets over the last 6 years, both full face and modular, and this is by far the best one I've owned. It is also the quietest. The field of vision is unbelievable. It is not only light weight, but is so well balanced it feels even lighter. This helps with buffeting at high speeds and really reduces neck strain. It is also the most versatile helmet I've seen. You can read all about the six configurations in the description so I won't go into them. But when we first got them we played with all the parts and configurations and we were impressed with how simple it was to change out parts. I will say that the built in sunscreen actually works since it comes down far enough to be useful. And the shield stays put when you move it to a “lock” position vs. the often encountered “slam the shield down” experience when hitting higher speeds.
The helmet alone is worth every penny. Adding in the optional intercom system, which the helmet is made to support, and you have a winning combination. The helmet and com systems are one of the best investments I’ve made.
So if you are looking for a lightweight helmet with amazing features and great versatility at a good price point then look no further.

Very versatile and comfortable helmet.
I rode over 3000 miles wearing this helmet within a week of buying it. It was quiet, comfortable, and the flexible configurations worked for all road and weather conditions. Great helmet!

An exceptional helmet, with great features and the best field of view I've seen, order a size large.
The first thing I noticed about the helmet is how light it is, It's incredibly light, and the polymer shell is largely to blame, the only downside to this is you can feel the shell flex a little when you wear it. The XLarge was a little small for me, not in the padding, just that my chin touched the chin bar in certain positions, not enough to cause me concern about a face shot in a wreck, but I might trade up for an 2XL.
The technology was spot on, and the little details like the pin lock, sun shield, and ratcheting chin strap were very well executed, with more than enough vents to keep you cool on a long ride, an exceptional buy, I highly recommend it.

Great helmet, noisy with fairing
This was my second helmet (first was a scorpion 400). Well built, very comfortable, great airflow and vision, and the sun visor helps (could be a tad bigger, but works).
The helmet wears a bit large - I wear a L on the scorpion, Nexx X1r1 and n43, but the n43 feels a bit larger.
Unfortunatelly I traded my bike for a vfr and with the fairing the nolan gets too loud (even with plugs which I always wear), so I ended up getting the nexx. Overall I think the nolan is better, specially on summer.
