fits the shield weird
i really like the nexx xr1r helmet. the pinlock helmet works but the pinlock insert does not go all the way to the top of the helmet . it leaves a weird gap of about an inch at the top. the insert works but you will find yourself going cross eyed at the gap in the pinlock and the top of the shield. it does help reduce fogging but I am not sure i will get used to the gap. I am going to try putting some dark tape over the space and see how that goes. if that does not work then I would consider not using it and just using some anti fog spray on the inside of the shield.

Good, large pin lock insert.
This pin lock is much larger than most and is designed just for the nexx xr1r. The only downside is that the pin lock insert his the area where the seal and face shield and helmet meet. After done tweaking, it can be moved in a way that it doesn't hit the seal.

It works
Although I haven't had a chance to test this insert in cold damp weather yet, so far I don't have any reason to suspect that it will not do it's job when required.
