Good looking lightweight helmet
Only drawback are the mounting screws for the face shield. They have sharp edges and if you accidentally brush your helmet against your bike, they will scratch your paint!

Terrific Helmet!
This helmet fits me very well. I didn't need to use any of the provided additional pads. Very snug all around but no pressure points. Unlike other reviews I found the helmet to be very quiet. (Unless you loose one of the little plastic pin-lock plugs on the face-shield. Then it howls like a banshee!) It is extremely light, and the field of view really is remarkable. When the shield is up, the helmet disappears. The padding is thorough but it also easily accommodates glasses or sunglasses. There is a padded and easy to operate D strap. It's the only helmet I have which I don't immediately want to pull off when I finish a ride. Very comfortable.
Those are the Pros.
They outweigh the Cons, which are:
The visor is NOT quick change. You must remove three screws and fit together two visor framing pieces on each side. Bring a sandwich. I have the Cafe Racer XR1R and the vent opening surrounds are made of a cheap-feeling plastic. Something like a soft rubber or soft plastic would better fit this fine a helmet. The colors are vibrant and well chosen, and the decals are fun, but the text on them is a little goofy. Nitpicking, but maybe NEXX is listening ;-)

Nexx XR1R Cafe Racer
This product caught my eye because I was looking for a full-face helmet to wear while riding my Triumph Thruxton cafe racer. It has great style but better yet is a very lightweight, protective helmet. The big pluses are the very wide field of vision, the low weight, and the choice of colors/designs. I highly recommend the XR1R!

Great Helmet!
I purchased this helmet a few weeks ago and have logged about 1,000 miles in it. Right out of the box the helmet fit my head perfectly, i.e. it was uniformly snug, but not noticeably tight in any spot. Nexx thoughtfully includes fitting pads to help fit the helmet to your head shape.
Pro: As noted in other reviews this helmet is light, quality and workmanship are solid. Wind noise is on par with other top helmets. Love the wide view port which offers excellent peripheral vision. Venting controls are easy to use, even with gloves on.
Con: Although it is still cool here in Wisconsin, I wonder if the venting will be adequate for hot days.
I am planning a 6,000 mile ride in May, so this helmet will get a real test in all conditions soon.

Thoroughly happy with my new helmet!
Great helmet in which I feel quite safe! The only issue for me is the way you have to change visors, loosening TWO screws on each side of the helmet. Otherwise I would most definitely give this product 5 stars. I measured my head and chose size small however I think that the medium would have been a better fit.

Could have been a homerun!
This helmet could have been perfect except for one thing...IT IS LOUD! I really liked this helmet. It looks great, very light, wide view, great features but it is extremely loud to the point of irritation. I don't wear plugs (I never do with any of my helmets) and even if I did it would be way too much effort on my part. If you don't mind wearing plugs while riding then this helmet would be a great choice.

It is strikingly beautiful, weighs nothing, and the visibility is exceptional!
You get what you pay for and this is worth every penny.
