Modular with a ECE 22.05 safety rating I love modular helmets, but also want the added safety of the chin bar. This helmet has both. It has a great range of vision and isn't as heavy as other modulars. Noise is ok. There are a few drawbacks though - the lever to flip up the front is small and can be hard to find. Also, there is only one small air intake nozzle and it is not big enough to cool the helmet in hot weather (90+ degrees) unless you are traveling at highway speeds. January 22, 2013

Is this a full face helmet? I do not see a line where it would flip up in the front if it was a modular.

The picture really makes it look like a full face helmet, a one piece with no part that flips up in the front. Could you post some more pictures of the helmet in different positions. If it does open in front how about a picture with the front open. Seen these helmets a few years back. Would be interested in more pictures of the helmet and even the inside lining.

The pictures are a little bit screwy, the photos do not actually reflect the appearance of the helmet. Check out the Nexx X30V Core Helmet product page. The only difference between the X30V Hi-Viz Core and the X30V Core is the fact that one is Hi-Viz. This product page will even have some of the requested photos.
