I bought this tank bag to replace a Dowco unit that was stolen. This is a terrific tank bag, with lots of flexibility between the separate side pockets and the zipper expansion section at the bottom.
I actually prefer the Dowco unit I had as a magnetic-mount bag, since Nelson-Rigg's system is a little ...large? cumbersome? as a mag-mount in comparison. However, the N-R system is very flexible, and that's exactly what I wanted because I wanted to be able to strap this on the back as a tail bag, too.
The Dowco I had honestly felt a bit 'tougher' than this bag in terms of material strength, but the price difference is very large, and I have no particular reason to think this one won't be similarly durable, so long as I don't send it flying at highway speed. :)

I put this bag on my 07 Buell XB9SX and it fits great. Plenty of space without using the expandable section. My last tank bag, a Pro Genisis, faded after only one season, hope this one dosen't. The only down side to this bag is the zippers are not YKK and I have already had to repair them once (on the rain cover not the bag). Overall the bag seems to be pretty tough and looks good on my bike.
Pros Rugged, Great Value
