Runs slightly small. Elastic waist on jacket ruins this suit. I am returning this item for one reason: The elastic waist on the jacket is too tight and WAY too high. The waist on the jacket and the waist on the pants should overlap, especially when you are sitting down, but they don't. Instead, theres a good 4-6 inches where my lower back is basically exposed. There is no drawstring at the lower edge of the jacket, so it looks like you are wearing a little skirt, especially in the back..... I am usually a L-XL depending on the manufacturer. In my experience, rain suits or coveralls usually run big, to go over any bulky clothing you may already have on. I could wear the XL of this rain suit without anything on underneath and it fits pretty good. If you get this suit, do NOT go a size down. I would say it's pretty much true to size. The only place its a little baggy is through the shoulder/armpit area. It's a bummer.... because overall the suit is made really nice for the price and the pants are PERFECT. May 11, 2012

I'd like a little more explanation of what the mesh lining does for you. Is it removable? Do I need it? It isn't really clear what the advantage of this model over the cheaper SR6000 model.

Secondly, as a general comment, I wish these rain suit descriptions would have some information on how small the suit can be packed, considering they spend most of their lives rolled up in some luggage.
