A shopper asked: Will the N-Com system be functional while I am charging it? Say I am on the road and the battery starts giving me the warning beep, can I plug in the auto-charger and continue to use the N-Com? Jul 26, 2014

GLENN H: Yes it will charge while using the system. That said, when you get the low battery, you should have between one and two hours of use depending on how you are using it. Most important to note is a warning from Nolan which states that any time you charge a battery, any battery can over heat to the point of catching fire. Now, if that happens while charging overnight for the next day's ride, this would be bad. If this happens while the helmet is on your head and your traveling at hwy speed, it could be very bad. William P: Yes - but given low voltage of charger may be better to connect when a long trip is anticipated, not waiting until battery is depleted. Jul 26, 2014
