Mustang Wide Tripper Solo Seat For Harley Slim / Blackline 2011-2016
Looks and comfort too!
My first 200 mile trip on the stock seat was pretty uncomfortable after about the first hour. I highly recommend the Mustang for comfort on longer rides. It has the right combination of looks and comfort. Very well made.

Great quality and comfort all in one!
Changing from the standard OEM solo to the wide tripper is fantastic. The seat is truly wider, keeping those legs off the engine and away from the heat. It's much thicker on the bottom and backside slope, keeping from cutting off any circulation at the tail bone. Not to mention it's more gripping for those who really throttle their beast, looks great, and with 2k miles on the seat, has no sign of wear or areas of discomfort.

Its good looking but bad construction.
I purchased the Wide Tripper and the matching pillion. First off the seat looks great, I was surprised to find out it was vinyl and not leather but that's my fault, its high quality vinyl and it looks and feels it. Second the pillion is fantastic my girl loves it and loves riding it. it has a steel pan and its good construction. The issue is the Solo seat itself, very weak construction, a plastic pan that moves and bends as you ride, it seems like the scale of the seat is too small for the bike as it shifts around and I can feel the struts of the softail on my thighs. The tongue at the front of my seat that slips into the receiver is more narrow that stock so it has too much play and shifts around left and right and only about a 1/8th of an inch is inserted, as you adjust yourself the seat bends up and down almost slipping out of the receiver. I have had the seat for under a month and only have about a hundred miles on it and I'm very disappointed. my stock seat was great but I wanted a better pillion for my girl so I went this route, bad idea. I'm 5'8" 225. 2015 HD Softail Slim. I will probably return this product.

She loves it
We ride this bike mostly to bars and with groups and my wife loves it for up to a hour to a hour and a half but no more than that. She loves it for what we do with the Slim.

My butt loves it
After riding on a suction cup seat for 7 months, he finally upgraded us to the Mustang seats for us both. My butt couldn't be happier. Love the over all look it has on his back and I love the feel when we hit bumps unexpected and doesn't hurt!! Highly recommended. Now just pushing for a sissy bar and or back rest :)

Better than stock seat
Got this for my 2016 FLSS (Softail Slim S). Stock seat was typical Harley; hard and uncomfortable after 30 minutes of riding. The Mustang isn't perfect, but it is better. I was able to go over an hour before I needed to take a break. The Sundowner seat is the best, but looks ridiculous on this bike. Corbin makes a great seat, but at twice the cost.
By far this seat is the best compromise of looks, cost, and comfort.

Find on sale, and buy
To start, I bought my seat during a sale, and then found a coupon code. I do not believe I bought it from revzilla, but that is ok. I got the seat for $150. Not a bad deal if you ask me. For the price, it was definitely worth it. Not only does it look sweet, but it is slightly more comfortable than the stock seat. After wrecking my first bike, I have been looking for more comfort, but still love the look of a Softail Slim. I needed more out of my seat, and the Mustang Seat delivered. This seat doesn't turn a Slim into a lazy boy by any means, but it allows me to go a full tank without worrying about how my backside feels. When I stop to get gas, I stretch (as is normal), and I am good to go. With the stock seat, I had to stop in between 100-150 miles, depending on the road conditions. Really bad roads, well, we can all relate, they suck and are not included in this review. I will probably eventually upgrade to a Road Glide, but, the wallet does not agree with that purchase right now. When I do, Mustang, I am coming for a full lazy boy!!! For those that have a Slim, and can find this seat on sale, get it. I would suggest getting the non-diamond stitch seat, and then getting it re-upholstered to a custom design. If you want the diamond stitch, and want to keep it that way, it is a good purchase. It looks nice, and will get you compliments where you previously did not get any. It doesn't keep water like my last diamond stitch from Harley (on my Nightster). It is a great seat.
