Moose Racing Expedition Rear Top Rack - Yamaha XT250 2008-2014
Great product fit perfect no mods required
The rear cargo rack fit just as they said no issues. the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is I haven't spent enough time with it fully loaded up to test it. Plan on using it for a week long back roads trip and will put it to the test.
Thanks Revizia for great customer service.

This rack fit perfectly.
Some helpful hints! The rack is pretty easy to install but taking the seat off is necessary. My previous 250 required removing the side panels first so I struggled with that only to discover the bolts for the seat are under the rear fender. So much easier! The instructions do mention the need to remove the heat shield but it would have been nice if they would have mentioned the bolts to take the seat off. Not really complaining but it would have been a piece of cake then! Having some blue locktite on hand to make sure the bolts stay in place is a good idea.

Easy to install
Very easy to install. It held my luggage perfectly on a 380 mile off/on road, mostly off road, adventure ride.

Just what I wanted.
Very fast delivery in great condition when it arrived.
The fit was perfect with all holes lined up, Only 4 bolts
to torque and installation is done. Very solid, you can pick the rear end off the ground with this rack. The most time for installation is getting the bike panels off and on. Can't rate performance and durabilty accurately yet but other

Very Sturdy Rack
I purchased this rack to go on my wife's XT250. It seemed to offer a lot more bang for the buck than the OEM luggage rack.
The installation is fairly easy as long as you don't mind taking the plastics off of your bike.
One difficulty I had is that the welds were off on one side of the rack causing it to be misaligned when bolting it on. Once I got all the bolts snugged up it was almost straight, but not quite. I would hope this is not a normal issue, and it wasn't bad enough to return the rack, but it is definitely not right on the one that I purchased.
If you purchase one of these I would recommend checking that the welds are flush where the rack mounts to the brackets before you start installing it.
Once installed the rack seems VERY sturdy.
If the welds had been better aligned this would have received 5 stars and high ratings on Ease of Install and Finish.

NICE Quality Rack
I bought the rear rack for my 2008 XT250. I was under the impression it was going to be a quick and easy install. It's not a hard install by any means, but some bolts are tough to access. The installation instructions were somewhat helpful but the sizes of the bolts would've made things easier.
I can't really comment on the durability because I had it for a week now, but it seems like it is quality material. I would've gave the rack a 5-star if I knew more about the durablity and if the rack didn't claim to be easy to install. (I had to take the seat off and take off a plastic panel to install.)

Leigh D:Mark, I have been trying to decide myself on the perfect bag for this rack. I have just purchased the Moose Racing Adventure Series Luggage rear rack bag. It looks the same shape as the Rack and i would hope being the same brand should do just fine. Will keep you posted LeighMay 31, 2015
Leland M:I have a Kuryakyn Grand Tour Bag that i had from my cruiser. It fits the base of the rack just great. I can take it on and off in just seconds. It is tall and my son does not like the look. But it holds a lot of stuffJun 3, 2015
gary j:I use an ogio for local stuff, and I have the DrySpec system including saddle bags, 38L duffle and 28L duffle for multi-day events; all soft sided. The rack is flexible to handle most any style luggage.Jun 29, 2015
