Easy to install, looks great Screen was simple to fit and looks great on the front of the bike. Really changes the bikes appearance from a standard screen. November 4, 2013
Really nice Install was very easy. The shield works very well especially in the rain.Makes riding more enjoyable October 21, 2013
Quality product Just the right size for my 1000 vstrom. Great price and quality. August 26, 2013
Cool air and no buffeting I have run my WeeStrom without a windscreen most of the summer. I like the extra air and lack of buffeting that way, but not the unfinished look. I found out about this shield on one of the enthusiast forums and thought I'd give it a shot. I run the shield in the lowest stock setting and I can hide my GPS behind it. Wind hits me upper chest and head with no buffeting. I'm 6'2". Keeps me cool and happy with my helmet and touring jacket on. I'm use to riding sport bikes and wear ear protection...so I'm perfectly happy with the wind noise and slight neck fatigue over a full touring windscreen. I also purchased the +4 Moose Racing windshield for longer rides / rain / cooler weather. I've fit the +4 to the bike, but haven't run it yet. I've been considering some sort of mounting bracket for the rear luggage so I can carry both shields with me on trips and swap as needed. August 19, 2013
Just what I wanted. This windscreen was exactly what I wanted. Installation was quick and easy. High quality item. July 29, 2013
Bang for the buck Everyone is looking for a replace to the stick DL650 wind screen. For the price of half what others cost you have got to give this one a try. June 18, 2013
Great Deal I got this windscreen to replace the stock unit on my Vstrom because I wanted a slightly taller unit. This +2 one is perfect and very affordable. It really is a taller stock shaped windscreen that mounts up perfectly. It doesn't change the look of the bike but gets my head out of the wind very nicely. If you have a taller seat or use an airhawk like I do then this screen is a very good investment. May 20, 2013
Great Taller shield. Less than stellar shorty I bought both the 2" taller clear screen and the 4" shorter smoked screen. The 2" taller clear screen with my MadStad brackets worked great for getting rid of the turbulence at the top of my helmet. I put the short screen on the stock windshield bracket. It looked really cool. I also liked how it felt like I had a larger viewing area. However, it was not for me. The short screen put the wind-stream at about my neck. Not good for at all. As soon as I got home, I put the 2" taller stock screen back on. The price was fantastic! Two screens for under $125 shipped. May 19, 2013

Woody C: The +2 over does have a slight curve to vertical. But I do not know what the OEM windshield was like since I never had one. Bought my DL650 used and with an aftermarket screen. Aug 13, 2013

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)

A shopper asked: What are the dimensions of this windscreen? I see your answer about the width ("The width in a straight line measuring across the back is 15". If you follow the arc around the front, it is 16.25"), is the width the same for all of the available windscreens?

If the Moose model numbers are the heights, they are 11", 17", and 19" tall.
