Moose Racing Adventure Windscreen Suzuki V-Strom DL650 DL1000
Cool look - good function
The Moose Racing Adventure Windscreen for my Suzuki V-Strom DL650 was the perfect fit for me. I wanted something a little more sleek than the stock windscreen and this product fits the bill perfectly. I get a super sporty look that blends well with the V-Strom with just enough protection: no buffeting, just clean air over my helmet.

Works as advertised! I'm 6'3" 190lbs, riding a '11 V-Strom 650 w/gel seat (about 1" taller than stock) wearing a Shoei Neotec helmet, and this screen puts more air over my helmet than at it, thus resulting in less noise! I really like it. Only downside I see is that in hot weather, you will be hotter (less wind, remember?). This could be resolved with an adjustable bracket for the windscreen.

+4 inch over stock an improvement for 5'10" rider
Seems like a real nice quality wind screen. I didn't want a really big windscreen because I ride the KLR650 off-road. This screen puts the wind at about eye level so I still get plenty of wind but its not so much up my neck like before.
An issue I had with installation, the old well-nuts that mount the screen were completely rotten. Apparently '08/'09 KLRs had a lot of rotting rubber issues. So be sure to order at least 4 m5-.8 well nuts if it looks like yours are cracking around the edges. You will rip them apart getting them out of the old screen. They are about 60 cents each at a hardware store.

Great windshield for F800GS
First, I was very impressed that the windshield arrived in California in just two days.
I quickly installed the windshield and took a test ride. I was again very impressed that the extra 4 inches takes most of the wind over my head. There is still a slight amount of head pressure but much less than the stock windshield. It is now very comfortable at freeway speeds. A big change.
The little bit of top edge vibration at speed should be expected and is not an issue

Great bargain, very different from the BMW shield
There is a bigger gap between the headlight and the windshield than there was with the BMW shield. This allows significantly more air to flow onto the rider's body, from under the shield. It was a little difficult to pull the screen to the rear mounts/ adjusters. Rubber washers did not fit in shield with mounting bit, like the BMW screen. It does fit fine when you get it all together. The clarity of the shield is perfect.
All in all a very nice piece.

Easy to install, looks great
Screen was simple to fit and looks great on the front of the bike. Really changes the bikes appearance from a standard screen.

This is a great upgrade for the price. I am using the 4" taller screen for the KLR which I don't think is pictured as mine looks taller than the Revzilla photo. Also, my screen did not come with the "Moose Racing" words across it. It does have a small white circle with a black "M" over the lower blackened portion of the screen. I am using this screen with a Happy Trails Rallye windscreen cage set up which is supposed to be compatible with the stock screen. I am around 5-8 with a 30" inseam, this taller screen now throws the air at the upper part of my helmet (maybe even over the helmet), not my chest. No more chest/shoulder chill on cold mornings. It is very clear and is still below my field of vision so I am not looking through the screen, the top is still below eye level.
