Great bargain, very different from the BMW shield
There is a bigger gap between the headlight and the windshield than there was with the BMW shield. This allows significantly more air to flow onto the rider's body, from under the shield. It was a little difficult to pull the screen to the rear mounts/ adjusters. Rubber washers did not fit in shield with mounting bit, like the BMW screen. It does fit fine when you get it all together. The clarity of the shield is perfect.
All in all a very nice piece.

Great Windshield for the money, but be prepared to work on it to make it fit.
This is a great windshield for the money. The plastic is thick and durable. However it is not as good of a fit as the stock BMW windshield. Be prepared to bend the sides into shape and sand and drill the mounting holes. The windshield tends to bow out at the sides and put a lot of pressure on the side bolts.

Be prepared to work on getting a good fit for this windshield. You will have to ream out all of themounting holes both sides and front. I was able to use a tube of 100 grit sandpaper to ream out the side mounting holes. The front mounting holes will work with just the screws provided by the stock windshield.. However if you want to use the rubber grommets you will need to either drill out the front mounting holes or use a step reamer to open up the holes to allow the rubber grommets to slide in. I used a combination of both to get a good fit.

After mounting the windshield I then used a heat gun on high along with rubber coated clamps and thick gloves to relieve the stress on the side mounts. Just take you time and keep working at it slowly. Heat the corners of the windshield while putting pressure, clamps and fighting the mounting bolts. when you get the sides in place you should let the windshield cool so it can keep its new shape. Test the fit by releasing the clamps and slightly losing the side

Once I was done with all the fitting the windshield fits like a glove. It blocks a LOT more wind than the stock windshield both on the top and the sides. It is made out of extremely clear and durable plastic so I'm sure it will last a long time.

I look forward to having the extra protection from the wind as the weather is getting colder. I plan on putting the stock windshield on during the warmer months but I this is going to be the main windshield for cooler and or long distance highway riding.

If you are willing and capable of doing some of fit and finish work to get this Sub $100 windshield to fit to the GS then get it! There are probably better fitting windshield out here , but when the stock BMW short windshield costs $250 + this Moose racing windshield is a bargain.

Is this for a GS or GSA?

BEST ANSWER: The windscreen would have fit my 2010 r1200 GSA IF I drilled two holes and created rubber gromets. I sent it back.
