MOMO FGTR Helmet

The new redesigned MOMO FGTR helmet is inspired by the helmets of helicopter pilots, has been re-newed, strengthening the combination of technology and style. Completely redesigned by MOMODESIGN, the FGTR is enriched with functional aesthetic details like an adjustable external visor, new visor support screws and a removable inner liner.

Features:

  • Shell Material: Polycarbonate 
  • Shell: 2 shell sizes
  • Inner Liner: Removable and washable (except neck roll)
  • Cheek Pads: Available in varying thicknesses (sold separately)
  • Inner Liner: High sweat absorption fabric and mesh fabric net
  • Inner Liner: Fabric is treated with silver ion for bacteria-fighting action
  • Faceshield: Spherical visor with anti-scratch treatment and UV absorption of radiation up to 400 microns 
  • Faceshield: Lined in leather and with supports in aircraft carbon fiber and two-tone metal visor support screw
  • Chin Strap: Double D-ring closure

I love this helmet! The fit is perfect for me and I love the style. It wasn't cheap but seems well worth the cost. January 21, 2013
Stylin' & Functional Looks good and comfortable for this style. I use it for in-city scootering. Substantially more comfortable than Nexx or Nolan Helmets for me. Not as comfortable as Shuberth (sp?) or maybe even Arai. I have been complimented on style, but that is more likely to happen at home in Milan, Italy than Milan, Michigan. November 16, 2012
Pretty and functional I just bought a Vespa and this is what I wear to scoot around town. It's a really great helmet with a very clean design. I love the fact that it has a shield that keeps debris from hitting my face. August 27, 2012

The MOMO FGTR Helmet comes with a Clear face shield only. Darker options are unfortunately not available in the US. You might be able to source one from a company in Europe. Good luck in your search!

This helmet does not offer an Internal Sun Visor. If you are looking for a helmet that does offer an Internal Sun Visor, please click on the "Helmets" section of the website. Then click "View All" and on the left hand side you will see the ability to narrow by category. Select "Internal Sun Visor" and this will show you all the helmets that we offer that have an Internal Sun Visor that can be flipped up and down when needed.

This is the lightest helmet I've worn. In my opinion, this is both a positive and a negative. It is considerably lighter than the Bell 500, for instance. However, it also seems to be lesser quality.
