james h:Read the fine print! The voltage of Gerbing thermal products is 12V, Mobile Warming is 7.4 . There is a big difference between 12 volts and 7 volts although it may not sound like much to some of you. Ansai makes large batteries that will power mobile warming products within the tolerances specified by the manufacturer, operating outside the voltage tolerances of the device at a minimum will run the risk of damage to the device and void the warranty of the product. The larger battery won't fit inside the pocket of a warming glove perhaps but it will power it or any other Warming product for much longer periods. No doubt Revzilla stocks them, if not they should. :)
P.S. As far as I know the connectors for Gerbing are not the correct size to fit Mobile Warming products but I could be wrong, anyhoo, ride safe and use the products as instructed by the manufacturer.Jan 8, 2015
james h:Oh I forgot to add, technically NO these are not compatible Gerbing products. Undervolting a device (running at voltages below the required level) can damage the device or even cause issues with the battery itself because the suit or device powered by a mobile warming battery. The suit could attempt to draw more power than the battery can offer causing a potentially dangerous situation inside the battery (lithium battery cells heat up when under high current draw situations).Jan 8, 2015
