Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact Front Tires
I can't tell the difference on the road between the K3's and the M5's. Perhaps on the track, but I can't see it getting any better than these for ripping it around the twisties in the mountains of NorCal. I'll be sticking with these for the foreseeable future.

I believe Metzler makes one of the best sport bike tire in the business. Tire feels wonderful on my gsxr 750. Very confident inspiring and lean angle gauge is a pretty cool feature!

I'll be buying again
My Triumph Speed Triple came with Metzeler K3's which lasted all of 2300 miles (2600 on the front). I wanted something that would last longer but performed nearly the same. I don't notice any difference and I'd say I'm a quite spirited rider around all the twisties in the San Francisco Bay Area. Warm up quick and I feel confident ripping it around the corners the same with these as the K3's. Didn't rate wet traction as I haven't ridden in the rain and don't know the tread life as I have only about 500 miles on so far.

Zero issues or complaints
6,672 miles before the center was worn to the bottom of the tread. Living in NJ, the sides still had decent life left.
Over the life of the M5's, I never once had them wash out or do anything unpredictable.
The rear only lasted 11 weeks before being beyond worn out, but its to be expected when touring/commuting on a sport tire.

Awesome road AND track tire
I have had these tires on my bike for at least 7k miles and i still have plenty of tire left. I took them to the track a couple weeks ago and they held up and gripped great! Once the tire is warm is delivers awesome traction and i was 110% comfortable at high speeds in the corners.
For the track riders, I have a 07 gsxr 600 and i ran my front tire at 28 psi and my rear at 26 psi for reference. That is the cold tire pressure of course.
Metzeler has definitely made a believer out of me and it is going to be really hard for me to switch to a different brand.
