Memphis Shades Bullet Fairing FX For Harley Softail
If you're putting together a club-style bike, a bikini fairing is a necessary ingredient. Memphis Shades has brought years of experience to the table with the Bullet FX. One-piece construction makes for a good-looking, gap-free shield - they tint the upper half of the screen, and black out the inside with a Class A finish, giving a glossy appearance from the exterior that is nearly impervious to color removal. The two areas are separated with a perfectly inscribed 'witness line' - a totally novel approach on an old favorite.
Two-piece appearance, but actually made as a super-strong one-piece fairing
Bold, aerodynamic shape with a hint of outlaw styling designed to streamline today's low-slung cruisers
Provides good torso coverage to help reduce wind fatigue while allowing uncluttered views of your favorite riding spots
Factory-appearing finish looks great as-is, or can be painted for full integration
Note: Model-specific mounting kit required for installation (sold separately).
I have this on my fatboy.
I'm not a mechanical guy. The install was simple. 4 bolts on the bike and 4 bolts on the fairing. Went from boxed to installed in less than a half hour.
The look is the primary reason I wanted this.
But the ride is a little different. The wind deflection is subtle but welcome. Lots of wind in the face, but none on the chest and no buffeting around the helmet. This thing isn't going to change your world, but it does add a nice touch of style and makes a positive difference for what it is.
Love it, speedy delivery and good product. Very pleased with this purchase.

robert s:no u do not... Believe me.. i am all thumbs and this was a very easy and welcome accessory...The bolts from the kit replace the ones on the forks..Fit the rubbers washers in the holes of the fairing first.. A tip..when mounting the support to the fairing make sure u turn the cap to align with the oblong head.. If u do not the cap will protrude on the outside of the fairing...I have had so many compliments on the styling of the fairing...i hope u enjoy your purchase. I am a very satisfied customer... I look forward to ordering from the RevZilla Team..Apr 25, 2015
On my 2014 fatboy, the mounts replace the 4 screws that hold the cover on the triple tree. So, no. You do not have to remove the wrap around at all. You just swap out the screws one at at a time.Apr 26, 2015
Jason S:It's a nice look when I want it. Do yourself a favor. Loctite every single bolt. Take the 4 bolts out of the cowling frame and reassemble it. Our rides vibrate like mad and you'll probably lose a bolt if you don't loctite them. Should take 5 minutes. I learned this the hard way.Apr 26, 2015
James C:In regards to your question I can't answer that far as fitting your 2010 Fatboy but it fit my 1992 Fatboy like a glove! Perfect fit. As Memphis Shade states, It should but not sure what a glide head is?
