Goofy windscreen does little to deflect wind.
I'm aware that this isn't a full windscreen, and it's really more of a fairing. That being said, I don't think that it provides much more wind protection than just putting your head close to the naked headlight on your bike. At 65+, wind noise is reduced if you duck your head close to the bike, but it would be reduced somewhat anyway. Lower speeds show no difference in wind deflection.
Fitment is pretty easy, although you do have to drill mounting holes yourself.
It does look incredibly goofy. It will make the front of your bike look like a unibrowed cyclops Bert from Bert and Ernie on Sesame Street.

This product looks great
I got the fairing for my 92 Kawasaki ZR 750 Zephyr it was very simple to install (about 30 min) and fits and looks awesome. I looked at many fairings on many other sites before ordering this one (I chose the small round) and I am very pleased.

Maier GP Sport Fairing
This is my third Maier GP Sport Fairing. I have had one painted (body color matched) and installed on a 750 four cyclinder Kawasaki, four cyclinder 919 Honda, and soon to be installed on my new CB 1100 Honda when it arrives. The fairing is made of super strong ABS plastic, has a deep smoked sheild, and strong universal mounting kit ... a real value. This quarter fairing does a nice job of keeping the "blast" of wind from hitting your chest and it rerally looks great doing so. I'm greatful to be able to buy such a well made yet affordable fairing!

Jonathan J:Ithe should. It's a universal mount system. There are no mounting wholes. You have to drill them yourself. The hardware should let you mount it to your bike. I am mounting mine to 77 Kawasaki KZ 1000 with a 89 GSXR front end. Hope this helps.Aug 13, 2014
Craig J:I would say take a few measurements of you're bike and compare them to the measurements on the site here they are accurate. I have a 92 kaw zr and It fits and looks great and you can't beat the price. And it is a very easy install. Aug 13, 2014
David W:I'm not sure about the Bolt. I'm putting this one on a 1986 Yamaha Fazer to replace an older one. The one I have also has the rectangular opening which is plenty big enough to fit the Fazer.Aug 13, 2014
