MachineartMoto Avant Front Fender Extender for BMW F800 and 650 GS

The MudSling-AVANT is a patent pending front fender extension that adds 5.75" of length to protect the front of the bike from mud, water, tar, and rocks splashback. The AVANT is unique in that it mounts without the need to drill holes in the fender, unlike other fender extensions. Not only is it simple to install with the included three grip clamps and black coated screws, it looks beautiul and integrates with the stock fender and is transferable to another bike without leaving disfiguring holes behind.

Injection molded in resilient polypropylene, it is shaped with characteristic flared wings that widen the splash coverage area without looking wide. The surface finish beautifully matches the stock BMW fender.

Simple, and does its job. I couldn't tell you why BMW produced such a small front fender (and no rear mud guard). It does little to prevent the spray from the front tire and sending dirt, mud, rocks, and water all over the front of your bike, up in the radiator, oil filter, etc. This small, easy to install, well-finished bit does the trick as it was designed to do. It requires no drilling (a plus compared to other fender extenders) and takes all of 10 minutes. Stays put, and seems quite durable. Finish matches OEM and lines/contours all match. Highly recommend for any F800GS owners who venture offroad/ride in the rain. February 2, 2013

Easy to install and a perfect fit! WOW ... after having installed other fender extensions on my prior bikes I decided to pay up for the MachineArtMoto Avant product for my new R1200GS Adventure. I have to say it is worth the extra cost. It fits perfectly, installs in literally 5 minutes and the finish matches the GS fender perfectly. Nice work! January 13, 2013
