Leo Vince LV-One EVO II Slip-On Exhaust BMW R1200R 2011-2012

The LV One is LeoVince SBK's entry-level, full feature exhaust. Building on the success and modern design lines of the SBK Factory range, the LV One assumes the shape and construction of that design while adding new materials and a redesigned end-cap.

The LV One has that distinct LeoVince performance sound and is designed to enhance your bikes' performance throughout the entire RPM range. This is a premium designed entry-level exhaust and offers all the benefits of LeoVince engineering and design at a consumer friendly price point.

LV-One exhausts offer:

  • CAD/CAM design for precise fit
  • Functionally designed to match the style and performance of the SBK Factory lines
  • End-cap constructed of a new proprietary LVHT1 (LeoVince high temp 1) "Techno-polymer"
  • Weight savings over stock exhaust
  • Slip-ons boost horsepower across RPM range (linear power)

100% sound improvement I installed both the Leo Vince headers and the stainless LV-One Evo II silencer on my 2011 BMW R1200R classic. The bike sounded just horrible with the OEM equipment. I also felt the huge chrome OEM muffler was pretty ugly. The install of both the header and the silencer was pretty straight forward. The trickiest part of the silencer install was removing the baffle for improved exhaust note. You remove a screw using an Allen wrench. The baffle is really tough to remove. I ended up clamping a vice grip to it and tapping a hammer against it until it dislodged. The exhaust note is really nice now--very deep. The bike used to sound like a small economy car. Now it finally sounds like a motorcycle! In terms of performance, the silencer definitely saves a lot of weight--probably half the weight of the OEM which is quite heavy. My bike has a Booster Plug installed which richens the air-fuel mixture on acceleration. But no other fuel mapping mods were made. Maybe the throttle is a bit twitchier, but for the most part the bike runs identically. I removed the ugly Leo Vince sticker on the can, and I think the appearance is terrific. Overall I highly recommend the product. December 8, 2012
