Leo Vince LV-One EVO II Slip-On Exhaust BMW G650GS / Sertao

The Leo Vince LV One EVO II Slip-On Exhaust is the entry level exhaust in the LeoVince line and is built on the success of the SBK Factory range. Similar in shape to the original LV ONE, the EVO II has taken a leap forward with the use of the most modern materials and a redesigned end-cap. The end-cap is constructed of a techno-polymer that is both durable and heat resistant. Gone are the days of a square muffler inlet cap, the LV One EVO II incorporates an aerodynamic inlet cap to reduce drag and increase its sporty appeal. Last but not least it features that distinct LeoVince performance and sound that will enhance your motorcycle’s power output throughout the entire RPM range.

Two options are available for most models: stainless steel and carbon fiber. The stainless steel features ASIS 204 stainless steel with a special sandblasted finish giving it a titanium-like look. The carbon fiber option is the lighter than stainless steel and features a flat finish that exposes the intricate carbon fiber weave.

Features:

  • CAD/CAM design for precise fit
  • Techno-polymer end-cap
  • Weight savings over stock exhaust
  • Increased horsepower across the entire RPM range
  • TIG-welded AISI 304 stainless steel link pipe
  • Tuned to work with stock fuel settings

Note: Leo Vince Exhaust no longer features the "Leo Vince SBK" logo, please reference image #1 for the current exhaust logo.

Attitude Adjustement
Installed it on my Sertao recently. It took maybe 20 minutes to fit the new pipe on and bolt it down (an hour to get the old one off). It definitely gives the bike more "presence" with its deep, throaty bark. At highway speeds, it is VERY loud, requiring ear plugs if you plan on spending any more than a few minutes above 50mph.
The finish on the pipe, carbon fiber, is first rate. I'm a fan of CF as it doesn't heat up like aluminum pipes. I can't imagine how loud this thing would be without the decibel killer.

I like this slip-on
I like this slip on due it it's great sound and awesome price. I love the weight loss this slip-on offered me from the stock goofy looking G650GS silencer. One of those stock silencer is fake and not even used. I was worried that the bike would look goofy without dual pipes, but the bike still looks great and the loss of one pipe isn't noticeable.

This pipe has a great sound. If you take the baffle out, it still sounds good, and is unbelievably loud, if that's your cup of tea. I typically run my bikes without a baffle, so I removed the baffle on this one prior to installation. When I started the bike up the first time with this new pipe (no baffle), it scared me really bad and I hit the kill switch to turn it off. I now run it with the baffle. But up to you!

Again, I loved the price. Installation of the pipe was really easy. Removal of the stock silencers was a hassle, but that shouldn't deter you from buying this.

The pipe comes with the Leo Vince sticker already on the pipe. If you don't want that it can be pulled off (probably easier to remove prior to installation.)

I recommend this slip-on to all.

Excellent upgrade for the 21012 BMW 650 Sertao
I installed the stainless version of this slip on. The printed instructions that came with it are not very good but the only tricky part is determining where the bracket mounts to the frame towards the back of the muffler. The fit and finish are excellent and it installed on the bike as if it were from the BMW factory. A spring puller tool was provided and made attaching the springs easy. The entire install process took about 15 minutes. The Leo Vince slip on is 8lbs lighter than stock according to my bathroom scale. I created a tool/storage container from 3" pvc and installed it where the short/right can was mounted. This slip on is a bit louder than stock but very acceptable and not too loud. The pipe allows the bike to rev further between gears, particularly in the upper rpm range. I highly recommend this upgrade and the Revzilla service, shipping and price are second to none.

Sounds great ...
There is a dramatic improvement in sound over the stock exhaust even with the db killer.

After my 1st ride I'm sure there is a performance improvement, but there's really no way to track that just riding. The installation was a breeze. It looks great, sheds weight, sounds awesome, and doesn't cost much.

Just get one.

great mod for this bike
This exhaust transforms the beemer g650gs from a sewing maching into a thumper. Quite a bit lighter than stock and looks great. It really wakes this bike up with quicker rev and a noticable increase in power. Good quality for the price. Excellent upgrade!

NEW BIKE!! AWESOME PRODUCT
Yes, removing your stock exhaust is a PAIN!!! But installing the LeoVince is really easy and the instructions are great.
After I installed it, the motorcycle finally sounded like a motorcycle... The old sewing machine noise is GONE FOREVER!! Strongly recommend this product if you are thinking about an easy mod that will make your bike sound better, breath A LOT better and it even slightly improved the performance.

nice can
Got this to replace another manufacturer's slip on. It sounds great. A little on the loud side, but it has a throaty sound without that high-pitched cracking noise. It sounds especially sweet between gears like a beast taking a breath, and the rumble during engine braking is pretty remarkable. Looks great. Easy to install. Perfect fit.

BUY IT!
I put this muffler/mid pipe on a new '12 G650GS, so I have no way to gauge performance increase. I doubt there was much gain, more because of the bike, not the muffler. Installation was physically simple. Directions were worthless. Either way, the system appears to be very well made. Fit and finish are awesome. Makes the GS sound like a older XT650, sound proper, like a big enduro thumper! Exhaust is definitely louder that stock, but not too loud. Cruising at highway speed, you can barely hear it, until you crack the throttle. I am very happy with this purchase.

Glad I pulled the trigger on it.
Installed on my 2011 G650GS. Excellent value and fit, signficant weight reduction over stock, looks and sounds great, but not too loud. Fits with Givi side saddlebag racks. Was easy to install and fits tight against the bike. Muffler performance seems more related to weight reduction. Engine seems to run fine with it installed with no noticeable change in driveability.

Great product
I installed this on my BMW G650GS Sertao to replace the stock, heavy double cans. Very straight forward and easy installation. Fits great with BMW OEM Vario cases. Makes the bike sound great--like a real thumper, and is not noticeably louder then stock exhaust. This also gave me room to put a tool tube on the right side of the bike where the old exhaust can was. All of that and a considerable weight savings.

Will this exhaust fit on the 2010 G650GS?
A shopper on Sep 29, 2012
BEST ANSWER: This should fit a 2010. Only electronic and cosmetic differences between a 2012 and 2010.
What about a 2013 Sertao?
Patrick C on Sep 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: It definitely fits.
I had to really persuade the mid-pipe on. Place a 2x4" on it and hit the wood with a hammer. Make sure you have it lined up properly first!
I also had to cut the spacer that mounts the carbon hanger strap with a hacksaw in order to get the molded strap to align correctly with the shape of the exhaust canister. Just place the strap on the pipe and hold the spacer over it and mark the spot that allows it to be aligned with a sharpie and the cut the spacer, file it smooth and place the longer piece inboard of the strap and the shorter piece against the washer and bolt it in place. Make sure you use blue loc-tite on all of the threads.
Don't worry, It's easy. Maybe yours won't need that mod, but mine did. The strap is formed to the exact profile of the canister so if I hadn't made the cut it would have looked bad.
do i need to make an arregement to the map computer for a bmw 650 sertao 2014?
Rene A on May 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You don't have to. I do recommend a K&N type high flow air filter. I have one on my bike. I run the stock fuel injection tune also. Tuning it would make it run better. I am not to sure how you would go about tuning the ECU. They sell piggy back tunes that splice into the ECU wires. Not to sure about doing that. There has to be a way to reflash the existing ECU.
would this fit on a 2016 G650GS?
