Sounds great
Opening the box it was a little intimidating and I gave up trying to install it myself. But I went back got my tool kit outta my bike and went to work. I have never put anything together in my life except walmart furniture and it only took me 45 minutes watching the you tube video. It sounds great. I take the baffle out sometimes and it's probably too loud. But I love it. I would def buy again

This was an awesome buy!
the sound is outstanding and it looks beautiful. the instillation was confusing at first but i figured it out after 30 mins. if you are considering buying a slip on: choose this over the two brothers or yoshimura because its so much cheaper but just the same. its low rumple when the baffle is out is awesome! i love it

Best bang for the buck
Put on my 2010 ninja 250r. I looked at other exhausts, and this one is by far the best bang for the buck. I only got the slip on version, since I just wanted a little more noise. For the other reviews that say it took them a half hour, I think they are either slow or including taking off the stock exhaust. The thing was on in like 15 min. The fit and finish is very good. Sound, is great. While idling in my local community it’s a little on the loud side. When cruising down the freeway it’s a little too quiet for me ( I can still hear wind over the exhaust) While accelerating you can definitely hear it. I would say it’s the best mix of volume you can get. Although I wouldn't mind it being louder on the freeway, I am kind of glad it isn't. Otherwise I would have a drone on the freeway.
I wouldn't call this much of a power adder, but at the top end you can feel a slight increase in power. Also, the power seems to be a little better then stock down low. It is a very clean looking exhaust.

Premium Exhaust Without the Premium Price
This exhaust is an incredible value for the price. There's no reason to pay for more expensive brands when this thing is just as quality. It's beautiful in carbon fiber. Sounds amazing even with the baffle in. Best of all, it's not overwhelming when cruising at highway speeds. However, if you want to make your presence known, just downshift and this thing will scream.

I am not mechanically inclined at ALL. 0.0 mechanical inclination. However, I was able to install this in about 30 minutes with just a metric wrench set. This is idiot-proof- just make sure you get everything nice and tight.

As far as performance goes, I changed my sprockets to 15/41, so I lost some power. However, I definitely noticed way more pull at the upper end of the rpm range on the highway.

Revzilla shipped this out next day like a boss.

Overall, I am happy as pie with this slip on.

Good Product
This Slip on is great, there is a significant weight difference and the sound is good, its too loud without the baffle but with the baffle it sounds great, and there is no way you can beat the price.

I was looking for an exhaust to replace the stocker on my girlfriends 250, man did i make the right decision. Not only is it a cinch to install, but as a direct replacement of the stocker, this makes the bike come alive and sound aggressive. Well, as aggressive as a 250 can sound! I like that it comes with a DB killer so you have choices according to your taste and preference. 10/10, would do again.
Helder T on Jun 1, 2014
Just really wanted to add volume to the sound (for safety's sake), without sounding obnoxious (the bike, not the rider!). I don't expect to get any gains in power or efficiency.

Also, the Leo Vince is a known good brand, plus this slip on is inexpensive.

Hi was wondering if I need to put KN filter and rejet the carb with that nice carbon firber slip on?
A shopper on Apr 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: hi i used the slipon muffler as part of a full system i built for the bike
my exp for what its worth
the bikes are lean off idle to about 3500 anyway so a rejet would be usfull
but not nessesary dont remove the air box its not worth the trouble unless you rejet
slipon will work wiyhout rejet ajust the idle mixure
What would happen if i took it off my 2012 ninja 250 and put this on my 2012 ninja zx6r?
Jake B on Apr 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Personally Jake, I wouldn't recommend it. If you look at the two bikes on Revzilla side by side, they don't have any identical exhausts available. One of the bikes is a two cylinder with very conservative horsepower, while the other one is a four banger with enough horsies to require much more of a free flowing exhaust. I think you should keep the stock pipe before you experiment with parts intended for other bikes. Just my $.02.
