great price for a great slip on
I bought this slip on after reading the reviews and a bit of research. I thought surely you can't get a descent can for 200 dollars but man was I wrong. My order came in and the very next day I installed my slip on. It took aprox 10 minutes to install and then I went for a ride to see and hear the difference. Night and day as far as the sound.... it sounds soooo much better and has a beefy growl to it now where as the stock was way too quiet. For what it's worth I left the silencer out due to personal preference. the slip on looks great and as far as boost in performance I can't tell or have not noticed. This slip on is very well worth the 200 and i'm stoked that I made this purchase.

Economic, great sound, weight savings - exactly what I was looking for!
I primarily bought this slip-on because it's a great deal compared to other options, and LV is a reputable brand. Anyone can install it with a couple of basic tools and it's a tremendous improvement over the stock can. The tone is deep, but not obnoxious (I never installed the baffle). I find the volume level to be very reasonable, but can be louder if you really want, depending on when you shift.

After a lot of research this exaust in the $200 range is the best!
Had this slip on Leo Vince installed today (had the dealer do the install even though I hear it's fairly easy to do yourself since I'm not really mechanically inclined) Since the install is quick it doesn't cost much to have them do it for you. Cost me about 40 and imo that was worth it to know it's done right. They installed without the baffle which easily can be put back in if needed with one bolt..which is why I like this option in case later on I want it quieter (which will likely not happen though lol)

So..onto the sound..I tried listening to YouTube clips of how a few comparables sounded but you can't really gauge the sound that way so I ended up choosing this one more based on the look/style. I compared with Coffman and the lxil hyper flow but the Coffman I felt was too small which would expose the swing arm too much for my taste and the lxil was out of the 200 range so I choose the Leo Vince based on that.

Sound: Oh yea!! It has that growl I was looking for and I'm happy with it. If you're considering this exaust..I would highly recommend it!!! Looks bangin in the carbon version I bought. Definitely the best mod I've done so far!

No better slip-on for the CBR500R
Sounds great. Looks even better. Installation is definitely a 'one beard' on the Revzilla beard scale (or less). If you're thinking about getting an after-market slip-on for your Honda, do it. Get this one. You won't be disappointed.

Another fun tidbit about this exhaust: because of the material (carbon fiber, I suppose) of the actual exhaust (not the pipe), it doesn't get nearly as hot as the OEM exhaust. So if you're like me and need to chain up your bike to prevent theft, this exhaust definitely won't burn you like the OEM did to me a few times...

Great sound for the money
Most other slip on exhausts were an additional $200-$400 so the price is the greatest asset. The sound from this slip-on is very good and also the db killer included drops the volume nicely without changing the sound much.

Only con is The clamp to the existing tailpipe could have been a bit better. Had some exhaust leakage the first time I tightened it down. Had to adjust the clamp to just the right angle to get it to stop.

Quality exhaust
This exhaust is very well put together. The welds look like they were made by a precision robot, the whole unit feels feels very sturdy. Everything slides in place perfectly, no exhaust leaks were noted after installation.

The sound is completely different from OEM. The online videos really don't do it justice. Without the baffle it can be quite droney.

well worth the $200

Can't go wrong with spending $200 to make your bike go vroom vroom
Only reason I bought a slip on was to have cars notice me as I ride by. Anybody who rides a CBR500R knows just how quiet it is. I didn't see the benefit in getting a full exhaust as it won't really make a big difference in speed as a 500cc bike is still only a 500cc bike. If I wanted more speed I would save the money and upgrade to a larger CC bike.

The GP Corsa slip on looks amazing in person, super clean lookin' with a nice carbon fiber finish.

Cons:
Slight air leakage from the midpipe
Slight water leakage (probably from condensation)
The bracket holding the exhaust was annoying to put on.

Make sure you have the spring tool to make life easier when installing but if you are cheap like me just use something you can find at home. Depending on your bike you may have slight air leakage so buy some silicone sealant to seal off the openings.

All in all this really is just for sound and looks. I rate this a whopping 5/7.

Great Bang for your Buck...
As far as exhaust slip-ons go, this was the one that kept catching my eye. There are tons of vids out there showing how it sounds. You will hear about popping on decel, and it is negligible. Make sure you follow the directions, and install takes about 15 min. Removing the stock exhaust was the hardest part. Once you get it on there it is solid, and sounds like a proper exhaust!! Great quality, and another great experience from the guys at Revzilla.

Better than I expected
I purchased this for a Honda CBR500R to help with sound, performance, and styling. The stock exhaust sounded like a weed wacker IMO and this thing makes the bike sound like a real performance motorcycle. I love the looks of it and it weighs a little over 6 less than the stock exhaust. The sound is much deeper and throatier than I expected and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The price is great too and I feel that the value can't be beat for this exhaust. I would definitely recommend this exhaust.

Patrick G on Oct 27, 2015
I chose this slip on exhaust so that people could hear me on the interstate. I've been almost sideswiped too many times by people who don't see me RIGHT NEXT TO THEM,,, My CBR 500r (2014) has a very quiet engine, so you really don't hear me. Usually, I can hear a motorcycle when I'm in my car and I immediately start to look for it. If drivers can hear me, maybe they'll take a look around and see that I'm right next to them...

Is it necessary to remap the fueling on the cb500 with this exhaust?
A C on Mar 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thinking about your question again - I did not have to change anything with the fueling. I did have to make an adjustment to the exhaust for when I have luggage on my 500x. The Givi rack I bought came with a "diverter" that only fit the OEM exhaust. This slip on looked like it was far enough from the case, yet the exhaust still started to melt the case. I took the suppressor that came with the exhaust to a local shop and they welded a small angled tube onto it to divert the flow - worked great.
Does the exhaust come with a baffle? Thanks
A shopper on Jul 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It comes with a silencer that makes it much quieter and closer to the sound level of the stick unit. The silencer simply slips into the end of the exhaust and comes with a screw to secure it. Make sure you use the screw if you use the silencer. I love the sound of this exhaust and it's the best deal I have found. Much louder than stock and drivers can hear me now so much safer but no too loud. Just perfect sound level
is the logo on this particular exhaust a sticker, or permanently affixed?
A shopper on Sep 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The logo is not a sticker but a thin stamped metal badge. It appears to be held on by a glue or a double sided tape of sorts. Its pretty solid though.
Is this muffler compatible with Honda CB 500 X OEM center stand ?
How difficult is to remove the silencer ?

Thanks
A S on May 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Not sure about your first question.
The OEM Exhaust is super easy to remove and the new pipe just as easy to install. 3 screws to remove the OEM CAN and only 2 to put the new one on. Took me about 30 mins to complete the lot on my own. Buy it, the Leo Vince GP Corsa sounds amazing on teh CBR 500 :) :)

Hope this helps.
What about the warning label? Is it legal or not in California?
Lamar F on Dec 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I believe that, strictly speaking, none of these exhaust systems are legal. It is my understanding that it is illegal to make a motorcycle sound louder than it did when it came from the factory. That said, no one is out there checking with a decibel meter. There are so many super loud stock motorcycles out there--Harley Davidsons for one--that is hard to imagine bringing much attention to oneself with a slip on muffler. At least that was the logic I applied when I bought mine.
Does the exhaust come with a baffle?
A C on Jul 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This exhaust does come with a removable baffle.
Does this fit on the cv500f 2016 models?
A shopper on Jun 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It definitely should. The stock Honda exhaust wasn't altered until the 2017 model year. This exhaust slip-on stopped being produced last year. I think that is why it is only listed as 2013-2015.
Hey All, I noticed that when I choose my bike model CB500X it only shows the carbon fibre version, and not the steel version (which i prefer the look of). Can you still get the non carbon fibre version?

Cheers,

Richard
A shopper on Jul 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Richard,

I would call Revzilla. These guys are super helpful, and they gave me a date that my exhaust would come in. I called on that day and ordered my exhaust. The exhaust I wanted was carbon fiber.

Side note:

I had the metal one on my Ninja 300 and it looked good, but the carbon fiber is so sexy !!
