Leo Vince Factory R EVO II Slip-On Exhaust Triumph Street Triple / R

The Leo Vince Factory R EVO II Slip-On Exhaust is the ultimate exhaust within the SBK Factory R exhaust line. It offers many performance features developed on the race tracks and is a perfect fit for sport, standards and naked motorcycles. The Factory R EVO II features TIG welded 304 stainless steel mid-pipes and a conical titanium sleeve with full titanium internals. Most exhaust companies cut corners by making their exhaust internals out of stainless steel, but not Leo Vince. Keeping the exhaust in place are heavy-duty stainless steel springs and a rubber lined carbon fiber muffler strap. This combined performance package will bring a robust sound to your motorcycle while increasing power and torque.

Features:

  • CAD/CAM design for precise fit
  • Substantial weight savings over the stock exhaust
  • Slash-cut carbon fiber end-cap
  • All-titanium internal muffler construction
  • Mid-pipes constructed of TIG-welded 304 stainless steel
  • Increased horsepower across the entire RPM range
  • Deep exhaust tone
  • Tuned specifically to work with the stock fuel settings

Note: Leo Vince Exhaust no longer features the "Leo Vince SBK" logo, please reference image #1 for the current exhaust logo

Better sound, more power
The installation, which I did myself, took only about 45 minutes with standard tools. I left out the restriction disk, and then took off the db limiter as well, and it still isn't obnoxiously loud. I understand the Leo Vince is supposed to add several horsepower across the RPM range, and it feels that way. It revs a lot more freely now, in addition to having a much better sound (which psychologically feels like a few additional horsepower all by itself). The swap eliminated the catalytic converter, so the new exhaust is several pounds lighter and without the cat is more free-flowing. It seemed to work fine with the standard tune, but I had the dealer update the ECU anyway.

Are the torque and hp gains same/similar with and without the db killer in?
Stephen Y on Jun 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Your over all torque and hp figures will be better without the db killer. Without the db killer you will have a higher top end, where as with the db killer your "initial" will be better.
