Le Pera Bare Bones Solo Seat For Harley Sportster With 3.3 Gallon Tank

Barely a seat! The Bare Bones is one of the thinnest, lowest, sleekest seats you can get - from LePera or anyone else. LePera cautions that this seat was designed for around town bar-hopping - if you just need something to cover the frame rails, this is your saddle!

Features:

  • Low, sleek style retains back support
  • Molded one-piece foam foundation
  • Covered with premium-grade black vinyl
  • 16 gauge powder-coated steel baseplate
  • Made proudly in the USA

Awesome smooth style seat! Fits perfect with my sportster! I recommend this seat if you are looking for a smooth sleek look out of your seat that will flow with your bike! April 28, 2014
Perfect fit for the bike and me First the service was fantastic getting the order processed, second the actual seat is perfect for my Iron 883, packaged very well, install took roughly 3.2 minutes. Third and most important, this seat is like sitting on a cloud made of everything you think you want out of a seat. I live in michigan and the potholes have been out of control...until now. With this seat I can smash those potholes hard and not feel a thing. April 18, 2014
Excellence!!! RevZillas promptness & customer service was unbelievable. I was extremely impressed at how quickly my purchase arrived. I am a service member stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I am used to packages arriving weeks after ordered. Not with RevZilla.... January 27, 2014
Great seat. This seat was the first thing I changed on my Iron 883. The stock seat is terrible. The Bare Bones seat makes the bike look so much better and it isn't uncomfortable for me. Yes, after about 3 or 4 hours of straight riding it got uncomfortable but that's probably the same for any seat. This is a great seat. November 8, 2013

Blake A asked: My wife currently has an H-D Badlander seat on her Iron 883. She complains regularly about feeling like she's going to slide off the back of it. Does anyone have experience riding this seat that can provide some feedback here? Is there enough lip on the back of this saddle to keep you from sliding back when you twist your wrist?

Appreciate the feedback!

Brian P: So I bought this seat for my 2014 883 Iron and it has a nice scooped sit which seems to prevent you from sliding backwards. I am lean but tall (over 6 foot) and I have never felt like I was going to come out of the seat. On the other hand it is a solo seat, so it is low profile. On longer rides I actually scoot back and sit right on the rear seat lip and I still feel secure on the interstate at 70+. Hope this helps!

Robert M: Hey Blake, the great thing about the Bare Bones aside from the sleek look and comfortability, is the concave form it has. There is great support in the back of the seat and it always keeps me in my place whether I get jerked back from gassing it or hitting a pothole. I couldn't recommend this seat enough! Nov 5, 2014

T A: I ride an iron and have the bare bones seat as well. It has the same feeling as if you could slide off the back. I've even considered putting some material on the seat for comfort (not that it's necessarily uncomfortable to me)/friction. Hope this helps. Nov 5, 2014

Matthew R: I've had this seat for just over a year, bought it for the low profile look but found it much more comfortable than the OEM seat. No issues with sliding back, quality made, easy to install. Nov 5, 2014

Christina S: I think so. it sits lower and more "into" the bike.
never felt like I'd slide off and actually felt like more a part of the bike.

A shopper asked: Just a question on the fitment. it doesn't say 09 sportster on the fitment and i know they have a seat for it, but this one looks much better than the other one so was just wondering why it doesn't fit and if there was some way to make it work? Thanks in advance. May 19, 2014
