LaZer Monaco Helmet
Need to break it in like a shoe, it stretches
Initially I hated this helmet. The speakers are not ĺoud.
The helmet was so tight I couldn't chew gum in it. I love the fit now. Very light and face shield works gear. I can't detect airflow due to my large windshield.

I own carbon Monaco and love the fit, comfort, weight, and quality.
This was purchased for my son. He raves about it.
This is a well built modular that looks and fits like a standard sport touring full face.
The pricing at Revzilla is icing on the cake!

Excellent deal for price, runs slightly small
I bought this to replace an older AGV Miglia modular. This is clearly a much better helmet feature-wise, and with the current sale price, it's a great deal. It is quiet for a modular, the latch feels very solid, the transition shield works great, and it has very good air flow. No fogging whatsoever even without the pinlock, but the weather's warm now so I'll wait until fall for a final judgement (and if it does fog, the included pinlock will cure it, so no problem regardless). It fits a little tighter than my AGV and Nolan (all large size), but it probably needs to break in. I have a fairly elongated head shape and it presses a bit on the sides of my forehead. The style is pretty basic, but I am not a fan of flashy helmets, so that is good. Overall, if you can grab one of the last few at sale price, you won't regret it.

Looks great, quite comfortable, several features included.
I'm a new rider and am very pleased with this helmet. First off it looks great and I get several compliments on it. It's extremely light weight and the airflow is very nice. The noise at higher speeds is dramatically reduced when everything is fully closed. The modular face, visor, and micrometric buckle chin strap work great. I was very pleased that this helmet already included a pinlock visor insert which greatly reduces fogging when not moving and at slow speeds. The included visor is also a transition lense so there's no need for sunglasses or a separate darkened visor or visor insert. The reflector on the back of the helmet is also a nice touch. My only complaint is that the helmet felt quite tight on my head at first even though I followed the sizing guidelines, but now that I've been wearing it for a couple of weeks it seems to have stretched out and is now quite comfortable. I would definitely recommend this helmet to anyone looking for a modular helmet.

Tight on the cheeks, VERY TIGHT.
Would be a great helmet, but...
Normally a large is too big for me. This large is TOO tight. Almost painful. Isn't getting better with time.
A little pressure on forehead, not much.
Cheek pads are too tight even after flattening between bags of mortar for a week. I may just remove them, but I don't think it will make getting it on and off any easier.
Removed helmet wiring, installed sena speakers, not a good place to install speakers, fit poorly.
Strap needs to have the pieces sewn together, get in the way putting helmet on.
I have to pull helmet apart at cheek area about an inch to get it over my ears, and even then they almost bleed from putting it on. Getting it off isn't much easier.
Pinlock is great. Vision with optional orange pinlock is 100x better in rain and at night. Don't ride without the orange or yellow in rain or dark.
If you can get it to fit, I would still recommend it.

Remove the speaker cover buds!
Excellent modular helmet at a fraction of the price of its lighter carbon fiber twin.
The photochromic visor WORKS GREAT, in low light conditions and night time riding is completely transparent, and as light increases it darkens progressively, giving you just the right, PERFECT amount of light.
The "trigger" for the lower piece is nice and sturdy, for lift up and are able to ride with the flip upright, totally awesome and different than a closed helmet.
Ventilation is perfect. Extremely pleased with this purchase!

First I want to start by saying I haven't wore a helmet in over 20 years. After 1 month of trying on all types of helmets and comparing prices, this one has the best of both worlds (fit and price). My head size is 58 and I tried the medium but it was hard to get on and almost impossible to take off. The large allows me to take it off and on without struggling too much. Airflow, Photochromic face shield, Pinlock and the reflective zones are all great. Only one complaint, when using the open face configuration I wish it had a cover for the sides to make it look more neat. Other than that I would recommend this helmet.

Purchased after watching Revzilla review and reading reader comments. For the most part accurate.
I did find the helmet more difficult to put on and even more so in removing. It is getting easier with continuing use. Still have to remove glasses. As memory surveys me this has been the case with previous helmets. Found it noise level much higher than my Nolan 103 or HJC SymaxII. Ear pockets seemed shallow and needed to install speakers of Sena20 without spacers for comfort. I have not installed pin lock shield but some fogging resulted and think that will solve issue.
On the positive side, I find overall comfort excellent. Air flow is good as is weight. Love the transitions face shield. Micro lock makes securing/releasing simple.
Excellent value. Looking forward to many miles and am sure I will enjoy the features.
