Good change The "small" cheek pads that came with my Monaco size small helmet caused significant squeezing when wearing the helmet. The medium size are noticeably thinner (~5mm each) and relieved most of the pressure, making the helmet much more comfortable while still being secure. Removal/replacement was simple - 3 plastic buttons, with a little built-in adjustment, securely hold each pad. April 8, 2013
Lazer Monaco helmet fitting I bought a Pure Carbon Lazer Monaco size M helmet In 10/12. During long days on my 100CCC ride I felt severe pressure from the cheek pads. I ordered a set of L size pads which are a bit thinner and now the helmet fits perfect. February 26, 2013

Hello! I have XL helmet with XL pads and they are pretty tight. If they do not break in I will need thinner pads. What do I need to buy to get thinner than XL pads? Is there chart that would describe thickness of different cheek pads?
