Pass on this helmet if you have a small head. I loved the look of this helmet. I was so excited to receive it! But that excitement turned to disappointment when I tried it on. The helmet shell is way too big to look good on a size small head. I mean, the helmet fit and the padding was very comfortable, but the helmet is just massive if you've a small head. I looked like Lord Helmet, or The Great Kazoo from The Flintstones... It was as if someone sold me a size 14 shoe and put 2 dozen socks inside it so that it would fit my size 8 foot. I didn't even bother taking a ride in it. I'm familiar with how a helmet sized like this rides. Imagine the feeling of a drag parachute pulling at the back of your head at speeds >40mph... Not fun. If you've a large or probably even medium sized head this helmet may look awesome on you and for that, I both hate and envy you. ;) But this review is for my fellow pea headed riders. Sorry, but it's a no go. That being said, if anyone knows of any open faced helmets that size both the shell AND the padding to fit small heads please let me know.
