Best Bang for your Buck!
I ordered the Lazer Mambo in a Black size Medium since I have the Bell Custom 500 (2012 model) in the same size. As always Revzilla shipping was super quick.
The bad: The mambo is definitely bulkier than the 500. Just a bit shy of Spaceballs.
The good: While it's not as sleek, the mambo looks and feels like the better helmet. The faux leather cheek pads are extremely comfy. The helmet liner is removable so you can wash it and prevent helmet stank. The chin strap has a quick release that allows you to remove the helmet with your gloves on. You can also find a nicely embossed goggle strap to add the finishing touch to your retro-cafe look.
It's hard to find an open face helmet with more value and style.

Greta helmet for good weather
Fits a little tight, and it's a little cold to give this helmet the full run through, but it seem like a good bargain so far. It does fit tight.

Well for $50 is a lot of helmet for bux. I do have my touring modular helmet, and old HJC 3/4 open face helmet. I wanted something to get in fashion with this all coffee racers / retro explosion, so eyeballing some of Builtwell and Bell RSD helmets to add to collection, but Lazer won competition with discontinued style / colors price. I'm in most other helmets XL so I ordered same size Lazer. At first expression fit was a bit snug and feeling helmet is sitting to much on top of head overcome in 10 minutes after wearing it at home. Finish of interior is super soft and I can see Lazer is using premium materials for guts, love Euro micro ratchet system. way better than double d ring. There is even room for low profile speakers to be installed in ear pockets, which I will do to cut down on ambient noise.
Its great retro helmet for round town, or short weekend ride, but there is downside with ventilation on hot summer days. Other great feature is standard 3 snap on buttons visor, which will support bubble face shield from other manufactures.
Not best helmet, but if you have retro bug, go for it, and listen to Antony, from revile TV.
Have nice ride.

The Lazer Mambo is really a beautifully finished helmet.
The liner is gorgeous. The paint is gorgeous.
Attention to the details is what makes this helmet stand out from the others.
At the sale price it was an easy buy and I'm happy.
It was the perfect helmet I needed for my NASA space helmet project I was working on. This is more than a fun helmet. It's actually a quality lid. Much more than I was expecting at this price point.

Perfect 3/4 helmet
I had a Nolan N20 but after wearing the Mambo its safe to say my old 3/4 helmet is gonna be collecting some dust.
The Mambo was a bit tighter around the ears but is very snug and extremely comfortable around the head. The quick release ratchet strap is a huge plus, and the goggle strap on the back is a beautiful finishing touch. It looks like a classic 3/4 helmet should look and feels right.
Overall great helmet.

Luxurious Comfort in an Affordable Classic 3/4 Helmet
I don't usually write reviews, but this is the best open faced helmet I've ever worn. The interior shows a hight level of craftsmanship and is luxuriously comfortable. The latching mechanism on the strap is the easiest I've ever used. It's so easy, I can undue the strap and remove this helmet with one hand in about 3-5 seconds! I love the goggle strap retaining button up flap in the back with the embossed logo. I highly recommend this helmet for anyone looking for a comfortable, well designed 3/4 open face that doesn't cost a fortune.
