Looks great in black
I purchased these bars with a 10 inch rise and black as I wanted them to blend in against the black inner fairing on my 2015 street glide special. The stock wire length in long enough for the handlebar controls as is the internal tbw harness. Stock hydraulic clutch line and brake line also fit just have to reposition banjo fitting.if you are not going to run left and right control wire harness in handle bars I recommend that you dremel a notch on the forward switch covers to allow wires to pass through them to avoid pinching wires as there is no dimple on bars to allow clearance. I ran my wires externally as black wires on black bars with black tie wraps against the black fairing is hard to see. Again this review is for the 10 inch twin peaks.

Loaded the handle on my 2014 ultra classic it took a whole 5 hours, fitted new grips with it, a small gap does exist but that's why u can use the same handle on other bikes, great finish, I think it has a 4 inch pull back which is really good.

great price & quality
I bought the 10" Twin peaks LA chopper bars Because they cost less and are much easier to wire than the other bars, I helped a guy wire another brand of 10" bars a week earlier and it was a PITA. Very happy with the Twin peaks, Im 5'9" and these along with my new grips give the bike a much different feel and I love them, Very happy and highly recommend them. I got these from revzilla and am happy with getting them as quick as I did. A 4" + clutch cable is needed for this project you cannot get away with the stock clutch cable. I tried.

Greg L: great style at a great price, always trust RevZilla to help me find the right parts at a fair price.Sep 4, 2014
Greg D: Bought the 8 inch bars from you but didn't really like after doing 1000 miles going to try the 10 inch riseJul 15, 2014
STEVE C: looks like it will fit my needsMay 3, 2014
Michael H: I love the look of these on my bike. I got the Chrome 14". They rock. I'm 5'7" with 30" inseam. Maybe a little above my shoulders but hardly noticeable and very comfortable. These bars are right at the top of the windshield but not over it. They look awesome. You will not be disappointed.Apr 6, 2014
Juan R: Good affordable price. Clean slick lookOct 10, 2013
Ruben P: My son and I went to Street Vibrations in Reno and saw many Electra Glides with handlebars and they looked great so my son decided to get some for his bike.Oct 5, 2013
A shopper asked:Great reviews on these bars!! I have a 2014 HD Street Glide. I want to purchase the 10" bars. What, if any, additional parts will I need to purchase to make these bars work on my bike i.e. cable extensions, clutch cable, etc ?Jan 19, 2015
Greg L:In my opinion 10" bars would not require any additional components. I put 12" bars on my 2014 Ultra Lmtd and was able to make it work without any brake or clutch changes (had to change the location of a few zip ties to give extra slack to the clutch cable). My Friend put 10" bars on his '09 Street Glide and didn't need to make any changes to brake lines or clutch cable. Toughest part was threading the internal wiring around the 90 deg bend. Go slow and you will not have a problem.Jan 20, 2015
William D:That's the beauty of these bars! None needed! Take your time and have patience with the throttle by wire...it can be done. Use a little lubricant (WD-40) worked for me and be careful not to damage the wires. There are some decent vids on youtube for the task.Jan 19, 2015
William D:I have a 2009 Electra Glide. These bars worked perfectly without wire or cable extensions, although just barely. I routed all wiring and throttle-by-wire thru the bars, which was a bit of a pain, but possible. All in all, I couldn't be happier.Jan 22, 2015
Robert G:Not sure with 2014 Street Glide since they are hydraulic clutch. I had to extend the wires due to running them inside the bars, clutch cable and brake lines are stock, just had to reroute a bit inside the front fairing.Jan 19, 2015
Danny A:Nothing needed. To make your job easier you can buy a new throttle by wire so you don't have to cut and solder back together. But you don't need any extentions, brake lines or clutch cable. You'll love these bars!Jan 19, 2015
Anthony T:Reached out to LA Chopper directly before purchasing. This was their response. The 10" bars will use all factory cables and wiring, nothing additional is required for installation.Jan 19, 2015
Mike B:I had mine installed at the Harley shop. They had to use a plus 4 clutch cable and a wire extension. The bars are great. It makes the ride of the bike feel like you sit down in it instead of on top of it if that makes since. Night and day difference, wish I would have had them installed the day I bought it new. 2011 FLHX all blacked out and lowered in the rear. Enjoy the new bars, it will feel like a different bike that you will not want to get off of. Aug 26, 2014
William D:I installed on an 09 Electra Glide Classic. I got the 10's for the express reason is I was assured by a local reputable shop that they would not required an extension kit. They went on with a little patience and determination but no need for extensions. I did re-rout my clutch cable for a little extra length though.Aug 26, 2014
Doug N:The TBW will be long enough. Brake and clutch were long enough. I ran all wiring internal and the factory harness on outside of factory bars Was too short to be ran internal, so I had a buddy run wires inside of New bars with an extension kit for left and right hand controls.Aug 26, 2014
William D:The wiring on my '09 FLHTC just made it without extensions, when I put on LA Choppers 10" rise bars. Not to mention they are the perfect height. I was worried they might be too short, but they're PERFECT!Aug 28, 2014
A shopper asked:Will these fit my 2007 street glide with bat wing fairing 10 inch LA Choppers 1-1/4" Twin Peaks Bagger Handlebars For Harley Touring 1996-2014 using stock controls and wiring ?Sep 13, 2014
Richard H:The bars will fit your bike, however, if you plan on using the OEM cables you will need to do a little research. I am assuming you currently have the original 8 inch bars. If that's the case I would recommend you remove the front of your fairing and determine how much slack you have in your cables. You only need an additional two inch's for the new bars, but you also need extra length to comfortable route them. If your current cables are not sufficiently long enough I wouldn't recommend using them. I'm not sure if you have throttle cables or a fly by wire throttle, but if you have the latter and the wire's are to short, order the wire extention kit. The kit is much easier to use than cutting your own wire. Hope this helps, I've replaced several bars and it's not that difficult, but it is a little time consuming. If you have any other questions I might be able to help you with, feel free to contact me.Sep 29, 2014
Steve C:They will fit but you have to reroute the clutch cable in the fairing, may have to loosen and adjust the front brake banjo fitting. The bar wiring should work but you may have to move the large connecters in the fairing to below the radio if needed.Sep 28, 2014
A shopper asked:torn between 8" and 10", mostly looking for a better wrist angle, and a little pull back, and comfort i'm 5' 10" suggestions ? also do ya need extensions with either bar 10, or 8Feb 10, 2015
Lawrence o:I was torn between the 12 & 10inch rise. But after sitting on a yaffe bikes with 10 inch bars and 12 inch bars at bike week I new 10 was the right size for me. Im also 5-10. My bike is a carburated street glide bike so I did not need any extensions. Comfort and fit are excellent. For the money the bars are awsome. I say go with the 10, if you get the 8 you will wish later you shouldve gotten the 10. Ride safe.Feb 10, 2015
Gary N:Bike is at the shop getting bars put on I got 10" bars because I'm 6'3" tall haven't had a chance to sit on my scoot to see how pull back is but I do know that 8" rise you don't need cable extensions and anything taller rise you DO need extensions. Done a lot of research on bars and most guys have nothing but positive feedback about LA Chop twin peak bars!Feb 11, 2015
James H:I went with 10's on my 14 SGS. I rally like em. They are tall but still keep your hands protected by the fairing. The only down side is the stock mirrors and now useless. I hope this helps. Feb 10, 2015
