Kuryakyn Curved Laydown License Plate Frame Mount For Harley
Should be stock
Nothing hurts the look of your bike more than the ugly billboard plate holder that comes from the factory. This follows the line of the rear fender perfectly while still popping up enough to be seen. I didn't use the included hardware for attaching to the fender do to other reviews, and I wish the bolts holding the front were black to match the frame, but overall it still looks great. Probably a bit overpriced, but I would buy again.

Easy installation. Looks great on my Harley Softail Heritage Classic.
This product easily installs on the Softail Heritage. It adds a custom look while staying with the classic theme. Ordering and delivery went smoothly. I am 100% satisfied and would recommend this product to others.

Looks great, well made.............but......
Overall the product looks great and is well made and well designed, however, the hardware as one other reviewer noted is really cheap. For a $70+ dollar item you would think they would supply better quality hardware. The supplied screws and lock nuts look good but when installing one of the nuts stopped turning, jammed tight as if there were no threads at all. When I tried to back it off it just snapped in half. I ended up using a nut and bolt from the factory plate mount, at some point I'll get 3 matching stainless steel nuts and bolts and do it all over again. I know it sounds nit picky but the manufacturer trying to save a few pennies turned what should have a been a 5-10 minute super simple install into a half a day project by the time I undo everything, drive to the hardware store, buy new parts etc. Again, the product looks fantastic on the bike and is exactly what I was looking for to smooth out the lines on the back of the bike, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good license plate mounting option. My only suggestion would be once you receive the item before you do anything take the hardware with you to the store and match up what they supplied with good stainless stuff. FYI, the screws and nuts I'm talking about are the 3 used to attach the unit to the fender itself, not the 4 tapered hex screws for mounting the plate to the frame, I did not have any problem with those but if you don't want chrome screws you might want to look for something matching in black.

Simple way to clean your bike up
You may have to trim your plate to make it fit. Even if you don't trim it perfectly the frame will hide it. It works just like a picture frame. There is a frame and a back piece that bolts to it. Pretty simple.
I have 2000 FXDX and my blinkers were mounted right behind my stock plate. So when I bought the integrated brake/blinker i use this with it.
I am sure there are other ways to do-it-yourself but this was just super easy to order and bolt right on. Matches my black harley perfectly

Fit and Finish is excellent, Great value, priced better than HD dealership. Easy to install, holes lined up perfectly.

Had to find my own hardware to install the frame due to the fact the hardware they provided snapped during install.
Also didn't care for having to drill holes in my fender, so now there is no going back!

This buy exceeded my expectations. Not only is it amazing looking installed (chrome finish to match, stream lined with the fender and fits under my luggage rack, which the stock license mount wouldn't which I may add is complete BS, thanks Harley) revzilla price matched amazon and applied my left over revzilla bucks ($5) which brought it under anything on ebay without having to worry about slow shipping and shady sellers. They got it to me 2 days after I ordered with free shipping. As far as the install, it was probably just the installer that was the problem... lol. It was actually easy enough once I fingered it out. Again revzilla comes through and shreds the competition.... thanks
