Great bag but don't be dying of thirst
I was looking for a larger bag to replace my Camelbak MULE. The Nak Pack is perfect size for me, plenty of room in here for my jacket and pants linings, and the dedicated tool bag is great. It's very comfortable and adjustable.
The water bladder design is excellent. Complete removal with a quick snap, no leak, clip on the internal hose at the bottom, and wide opening at the top makes for super easy refilling, draining and cleaning.
My only gripe is with the diameter of the drinking hose, or possibly the bite valve. Not sure what's at fault exactly but don't be dying of thirst when it comes time to drink. Compared with the Camelbak, it takes quite a bit of time and\or effort to get a decent amount of water.

Awesome quality
Backpack was a bit smaller than I expected, but that doesnt matter because this thing rocks! Its very feature rich and everything is designed with the rider in mind!

Good little moto specific pack.
Nice, well designed little pack. I chose it because it works well with my Badlands Pro and I didn't want some huge back pack. I can take the bladder out and put in the jacket if so desired. It just has lots of nice features that are built-in in this purpose built pack that you won't find in regular camping/hiking oriented packs.
If you feel that you need something larger, get some panniers or the larger Klim Krew Pac.

Very Nice and Well Made
This is a very nice backpack, Not to big and holds plenty of junk. There was a lot of options I noticed on this pack I love compared to the old Fox I came from, Its very comfortable to wear plus It has a very nice tool pack that holds plenty of tools, the excess straps that normally dangle and slap me while riding have there own "holders", very nice option to stop the constant slapping and the pack seems to be very well made with nice materials, Glad I made this choice for backpack, No complaints at all!! Perfect size, not big and bulky and I highly recommend.

According to Klim both the Nac Pak and Krew Pak are *slightly* water resistant, meaning that if you encounter a heavy bought of rain, anything in the pockets will get wet. We would recommend reinforcing your valuables with with a zip lock plastic back to ensure their safety.1 year, 1 month ago

Detachable shovel pocket?

I see that the shovel pocket has two "squeeze clip" attachment/detachment points above it, but I cannot discern how it is attached at the bottom to the main bag. Is the shovel pocket (with its attached compartment) completely removable? Overall, this Klim product, compared to other backpacks you offer, strikes me as a screaming bargain. Thanks for any info.

The shovel blade pocket is not detachable. It attaches to the main pack body using mesh on the sides and with some tough cords at the bottom which will allow snow / dirt to fall through and not gather in the pocket.Age: 35-44

I have a couple of packs witch have "shovel" pockets. None are detachable. The upper straps witch have quick-detach buckles are compression straps. Combined with the elastic straps, which are sewn to the pack on the sides, near the bottom of the pocket, allow the pack to expand or contract for larger or smaller objects. The pocket is sewn to the body of the pack and may have a small opening at the bottom for the handle of a shovel or longer items. The quick-detach buckles at the top allow the pocket to be opened wide for easy access to the items in it.Hope this helps.
