Klim has a home run with this product
Typical Klim quality in jacket construction. The material is definitely more friendly than the regular Klim Latitude material. Reduced weight and easier range of motion with sleeves. The Hi-Vis is great. Pair this with a Hi-Vis helmet and they will see you a mile away:-)

I am an intermediate rider who has to navigate through the madness of Silicon Valley traffic and...I am, let's say, a bit fluffy around the middle.

Most riding jackets are prohibitively thin around the middle and this is definitely a great riding jacket for commute or cruising.

The armor the jacket ships with is more than adequate and a number of velcro straps allows you to ensure the elbow protection are in their proper place when riding. Lots of pockets inside and out, lots of adjustments and small touches which really demonstrate what a well thought out and quality product this is.

Hi-Viz all the way!

Great jacket which I would definitely recommend to serious riders (the investment is worth it...or at least skipping starbucks for a few weeks to afford the jacket...no cup holder on my bike anyways)

Quality all the way.
This Klim Latitude Misano Hi Vis Jacket is exactly what I wanted & it delivered. The size is true to size. I wear an extra large & I ordered an extra large & it fit great. They made it with quality material. The sleeves are made for MC riding, a little long off the MC but perfect as you hold the handle bars. They thought of everything. I have not used it in the winter but in 40 degree with just a sweat shirt under I was comfortable. One could layer more under this jacket. I am a high Viz rider, jacket & helmet, but that's just me. I believe this jacket comes in other colors too. The jacket is not cheap but worth every dollar. Once you buy something you want to be satisfied. I am more that satisfied. The protective armor is in all the right places. My overall comment is this is a great jacket.

My beloved Teknic Freeway had finally given up the ghost, and I needed a new Hi-Viz jacket for commuting. The Freeway was fantastic, though it was just too warm for summertime (really anything over 80). The Latitude has gotten great reviews, and the Misano version seemed to have been further refined, so I decided to give it a shot.

The fit is fantastic. I'm 6'2", 35" waist, 34" inseam, 205 pounds, and a 44" chest. The Large fits perfectly, and with the adjustments I can tailor the fit reasonably well to accommodate layers for the winter.

In hot weather, the combination of the light color and the plethora of vents makes the jacket more comfortable than I would have expected. It still gets hot over 90 degrees (more so than my BMW Rallye 3), but that's the price you pay for having the Gore Tex.

The pockets are well thought-out, if a bit small. The collar is just about perfect in height, and it's not too stiff. The sleeves are the right length.

Negatives? Two vertical vents on the back would work far better than the single horizontal vent, and would be better with a hydration pack. At this price point, it's bizarre that there's no bicep cinch adjuster.

Still, it's a great jacket and I don't regret getting it.

Fantastic Jacket
I commute year round in the Pacific Northwest in mixed city and freeway traffic. This jacket is great up to the mid 70's (vents open) and down to the mid 20's with a fleece underneath. It's absolutely waterproof and the adjustable collar, waist and arms make it fit around whatever layers you need to use.

The Yellow: The high viz on this jacket does make a difference. I have a black jacket that I commute in the summer with and I have to dodge less cars that don't notice me with this jacket than my black one.

Sizing: I wear an XL t-shirt but the Large in this fit me perfectly. The Klim gear is definitely built for larger American frames. I'm 6'1" and 240 with broad shoulders.

Washing: After some commuting in the rainy weather here, the jacket got pretty dingy. A quick wash as instructed and it cleaned up nicely. Not good as new, but close enough.

If you need pants too, I would check out the matching ones they sell.

Verdict: Would recommend for everything other than the middle of the summer.

Great Jacket
I wanted a jacket that was waterproofed with out the need of a liner that would work as a cold weather jacket with my heated liner.

I'm impressed how well this flows air, I've warn it up to 95 degrees and have been comfortable.

Key Points:

The jacket does not come with a thermal liner. Which I think is great. A good fleece, wool, cdown sweater, or heated liner will get the job done much better than most of the liners that come with jackets.

D3O back protector included!

Fit is a bit large, I'm 6'2 200lbs and wear a large in everything. But I was swimming in a large and could not since the sleeves down. The medium fits perfectly.

This jacket was not on my radar, I went to the Revzilla store in Philly with plans on buying Revit Posiden Jacket. I think this is a much better jacket at a better price.

Excellent
I love this jacket. I have the hi viz and I enjoy it. I wore it to about 30°F and stayed warm with a wool sweater and vest. It holds up well in the rain, I stayed dry. And now summer in Chicago has finally started. It is great. It is warm in stop and go traffic but you remain relatively comfortable. The vents do a great job of channeling air over sweat to keep you cool (when moving of course). Lots of pockets for stuff and yes it's expensive but it's worth it especially when you see the dorks on scooters and flip flops getting soaked and you stay dry and comfortable. Would not hesitate to buy again.

Great jacket
This jacket, compared to my old jackets, is wind and waterproof. After breaking it in (which took one 2-day ride in the rain), it is very comfortable. Having a lot of pockets is very handy also. Haven't had a chance to check the airflow as it has been pretty cold weather so far. I like the ability to be able to use under layers with this jacket as compared to the Badlands Pro which would not have accommodated a mid layer.

Great service and price from Revzilla, my go-to store.

Excellent jacket, but expensive
I chose the KLIM Latitute Misano for added protection of D3o armor and Hi-Viz color. Revzilla recommended a size Large (6’2”, 210 lbs), and the fit still has room for a cold weather layer. Temps in S. Carolina now approaching 90 (mid-May), and the jacket is tolerable when moving with vents open. My impression is a very substantial jacket, Appears to be well constructed from quality materials. Just wish it was made in USA.

I've had this for a few months now, and every time I wear it I feel like it gets better! I've been in a few rain storms, and it kept me dry.

Love the feel of the armor, hope I never have to test it though!

Once I figured out that with the little side "sizing" zippers open, it was even comfortable on my cruiser, it has become my go to jacket for any day that has even a chance of rain, and for any time when I'll be riding at or near dusk or dark.

Go Hi-Viz! you'll start to see people notice your jacket... and that's why you bought it...

I've tried 4 season gear with included Gore-tex and thermal liners. Honestly, I felt like I was getting ready to go skiing -- just bulky and uncomfortable. The folks at Revzilla turned me on to this one -- Gore-Tex outer (read, water and wind proof with breathability) while keeping me in control how I layer underneath. Looks to be a great all-season set of gear!

Wanted a Summer Klim, since this one vents well from the chest.

All good, but the HI Vis is really not going to work for me. Only in 2 street rides I could see that every bug splat was toing to go on the collar and chest. Jeez! I like my stuff spiffy!
I should have chosen the BLACK. and wore a Hi Vis Vest.

Just wondering about sizes for women, is there a comparable size chart for Klim for women?
A shopper on Dec 16, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Sorry , I don't know about a Women's size chart for Kim. However, I bought a Mizuno in small and it fits great. I'm 5'7", 145 lbs (working on it!), wear size 10 or 8 pants (32" inseam) and medium or small tops (you know how women's' clothes' sizing goes). My husband has a medium Milano that was too big all around. The size small, with the side zips undone, fits great. Hope this helps.

Ps: I realllllllllly wanted the hi viz but needed a jacket in October. You would think that a 2013 jacket would be available for Oktoberfest but no. really I also needed it in Nov, Dec, and will need it in Jan.
Hi guys. I am thinking about buying this jacket and the big doubt is about the size. I read some reviews and I think medium size would be good but according to the size chart the large could also fits me.

My measures are: 5'8" tall, 40" chest, 38" waist and 31" sleeve.

I don't like to feel lose wearing jackets bigger than me.

What size would you recomend?

Tks a lot!
A shopper on Sep 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I started with a "recommended" medium from Revzilla and ended up in a Large. Below is a note that I sent along to KLIM. My recommendation is to go with the appropriate arm measurement from the Klim charts.

The KLIM sizing charts do measure the “sleeve length” from the spine to the wrist (I measured 32+” which is well outside the Medium range). I was pretty sure that the Medium was going to be way short in the arms, but more importantly, as soon as I tried it on, it was clear that I couldn’t move my arms forward enough without binding. So, at least for my build, the “measured sleeve length” was really the critical issue. Revzilla thought I’d be swimming in the body of the Large at only 165lbs and 6’1”. But, the Large is about perfect! On my sport touring bike where I’m leaned forward, the sleeves are good – any shorter wouldn’t work. On my upright touring bike, the sleeves are maybe 0.5” longer than perfect, as the bottom lower of the sleeve touches the hand grip – not annoying though. Since the I’m usually on the sport tourer, things are good. Even with the waist belt loosened all the way off, the fit is fine.

So, since the above note, I've done a 6200 mile ride. The jacket and pants are great - and waterproof. As mentioned above, I could not move well in the shoulders in the Medium. While the large is bigger in the body than I need, I was able to comfortably wear my camelback under the jacket and still layer up as needed. The smallest of issues was that under a fraction of circumstances, the sleeve would ride up and the sleeve strap would bind on the inside of my elbow. Ventilation was excellent and chest pockets have seemed watertight.

For what its worth, I wear a 33 or 34" waist/34" inseam jean and Revzilla also recommend the 32T pants. These fit, but only with the belt loosened all the way off. I traded the 32T in for a 34T and it is fine. I have the waist tightened up all the way, but ultimately that benefited the layering. No complaints.
