Just What I Needed
I had been looking at "base layers" for a while thinking "well maybe I should try them." Then these popped up on closeout, so I picked up 3 pairs. They have completely changed my long distance riding experience. They work perfectly, are comfortable, and meant that after a full day of riding I could still sit down without discomfort.

It looks like there is a new version of these coming out, and I would assume they will work just as good. I wear size "medium" Hanes briefs, and the size medium worked here as well.

Best base layer shorts around
Im ordering two more power for longer trips this summer as I have really used the one pair I tried out and rather have them on in any kind of weather than any other shorts i own. That said i ordered my size and they work but I'm ordering a size up this time around as I don't think they need to be that tight especially for the longer day rides . I have a pair of Rocker waterproof jeans and no matter what they say these bad boys don't breath like Goretex does and along with clammy in high temps they also get very raunchy . Since washing can take more than one night to dry I prefer these shorts under them to help defray the order building bacteria from sweating bottoms . They perform in a wonderfully supportive way and I bought the long john version for colder climes and they too work well except the fly is too small . Also i ordered my size in them as well and should have ordered next size up chart wise. These shorts feel like they are going to wear extremely well so far and now that I have two more pair they should last even longer. No change in size or shape and no odors from the first pair even though they were tight . Very impressive material and workmanship but then my Klim jacket has been that way as well. They seem to have a handle on the durability aspect of making gear. I recommend these for sure.

Awesome.
I have been riding with cycling shorts w/ a pad under my riding pants for years and decided to try a pair of these. Long story short... I LOVE THEM! Super comfortable, superior quality. I would wear these every day of the year if I could. Bought a couple more pairs but first use was a 4 day trip where I just rinsed them out in a hotel sink and hung to dry. Were dry in the morning and were comfortable, dry and odor free the entire trip. Get some.

Great wicking and support
UNLIKE the aggresor 1.0 shirt, this worked well on a 95deg track day. Stayed dry and comfortable all day. See my review for the aggressor 1.0 shirt. Not much better than say under armor or Nike, but good enough. Pricey.

Great to ride in!
To date these are my favorite riding shorts.
They are true to size, stay where they are supposed to and allow for good ventilation.
If you're still riding in cotton, get a grip. Or maybe you already have more than you need. LOL No bunching or binding with these shorts.

Do the job ?
At Full retail I would not touch these. Got 3 of these at 1/2 price. AT this $$ they are worth it. Nothing says "cooling" on the tags. IN fact they say "warm" and comfort and move moisture away. All good things. Heck, anything is better than cotton . There are other Briefs from non-motorcycle wear companies that may work well also, Champion comes to mind $25- $35. That actually say "cooling effect". The waist band is 1.5" + tall. That's the only real con for me. Why so big a band ? So don't have a gut. Also realize the seams run under your cheeks. May be issue for touring and cruisers a long ride. Not for me yet. FYI-this Klim made in China

Good Value - Helpful on the road.
I recently purchased two pair of these shorts before a run across Canada to the east coast and back. Riding conditions ranged from deluge of rain to nearly 90 degrees F. and they were worn under armored riding pants. During the run, east and west, there were several legs of 450-600 miles. The compression most definitely eased the effects of long days in the saddle as well as working well in the heat. They seem to be one of those simple solutions that cause you to ask yourself, why didn't you try them sooner?

great pants but small
I ordered the size I normally wear in boxer briefs, but they were so small I couldn't get them on appropriately. Unless these things are designed to be teenage-girl hot pants I would recommend ordering a size or two larger than your normal underwear.
